Home Office Decor

Β Hi guys! I’m currently re-designing my home office and wanted to share a few items I’ve bought and some items that have given me inspiration. I’ve been wanting to re-model my office for gosh…like a million years? I decided that in 2015, I’m going to just make things happen. I swear I have a long list of things I “need to do” but somehow never get to and this is at the top of my list. Do you ever feel this way? There are not enough hours in the day! I spend a lot of time in my home office for my blog (obviously) and wanted a space that was girly, fun and a space that inspired me. The majority of my house is very conservative and safe so I wanted something different. I recently bought a bunch of wall stuff from Home Goods which I shared very excitedly on Instagram. Not sure how I’ll put the final wall gallery together but at least I have some pieces to get me started.Β

So you know that I’m cray cray for anything with bows right? I found this gold sequin pillow and didn’t even hesitate to buy it (plus I had a coupon code for 15% off Β free shipping). For all gold, sequin, bow lovers out there, you’re welcome. I think it’ll go ah-mazing with this black/white striped armless accent chair. So Kate Spade-ish right? How cute is this pink bow GLAM print? I’m not sure if I’m willing to pay $15 for a piece of paper so I decided to make my own prints. Not sure how they will turn out but I blame Pinterest for all my “OMG I need to try this” moments. If I don’t totally screw it up, I’ll share with you my DIY.Β

Clearly I love everything gold and needed someΒ gold shelves for my new office space. I looked high and low for an affordable one but nothing really stood out for me until….I found a DIY that isΒ under $100. I’m currently waiting for my shelves and have my metallic gold spray paint ready. I swear Pinterest can be trouble. I have all kinds of recipes on one of my food board that I probably will never attempt but it’s fun to pretend. Lol! Oh Pinterest, well played.Β
Β

I ordered this trellis shag rug and can’t wait for it to come! Hopefully I measured properly and got the right size. I’m always paranoid about how everything will look once it’s complete. I probably have way too much gold but oh well! All these pieces could work in any living/family room too, I just happen to be re-designing my home office. If everything works out, I’ll share with you the final product! I forgot to mention that if you need a cute dress form, mine is still available! It’s the prettiest one I’ve seen and I did a ton of research. P.S – last day to enter my leopard foldover clutch giveaway! Have a great Sunday! XO

  2. I love the gold! I’ve found that for home decor the best strategy is to pick a nice palette of colors and then shop based on what fits with your theme. I recently chose sea foam green, shades of gray, and silver for our living room with espresso wood furniture. It’s so fun (though unexpectedly expensive!) to get into home decorating!

  3. Cute stuff. I spend a lot of time at my desk, too. It might be time to upgrade the accessories.

  4. I have been browsing on-line more than three hours these days, but I by no means discovered any
fascinating article like yours. It is lovely price enough for me.
In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did,
the net can be much more helpful than ever before.

  5. Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the images on this blog loading?
I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Thanks for your advice. Think about lighting and large windows. It is better to use insulated glass, which will then be easy to repair or replace. And also there is a large selection
