I’m in love with this blush pleated maxi skirt! I’m shocked at how well it fits and is available in regular and petite sizing. I’m wearing a 00P and the waist and length are perfection. If you’re a petite gal, you know maxi skirts are hard to come by so you can imagine my excitement when I came across this one. The color is gorgeous – even more so in person. The only draw back is that the skirt is only partially lined. I don’t know why this bugs me but it does. I’m guessing if they did the full length lining, it would be very heavy so I guess I’ll live with it. The quality is really nice and I was pleasantly surprised that the skirt required no steaming when it came in the mail. The price is high but I had a $20 coupon plus some rewards that I used so it made the price a little bit easier to swallow. I would highly recommend it. You can buy it HERE.
I always love tie neck blouses and was happy to see this top available in a white, green, black and orange. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in so many ways. First off, the sizing runs very generous. It’s hard to tell by the photo but the arm holes are huge and the top is very wide. The material is very thin and flimsy. If you can look past these issues then, it’s a cute top but make sure to size down 1-2 sizes. I like pairing this under cardigans and blouses with the bow peeking out. You can buy it HERE.
I’ve been curious about this skirt ever since I saw it online. I love the colors and print but was disappointed with the sizing. I don’t know what Ann Taylor has been doing but their sizing but it seems to be getting worse and worse. I’ve been underwhelmed with their selection lately. The quality of the skirt is okay but nothing to write home about. The length is great for work but I’d recommend sizing down if you do get it. You can buy it HERE.

I thought I was going to like this dress but once again, I was left disappointed. It runs slightly larger in the chest and waist area. The bottom seems to fit okay but it just didn’t do anything for me. This says a lot since I love these types of dresses. They are easy to wear and require very little thinking when you’re trying to get dressed. It’s fully lined and the material is thin. I do like the shape and length but I wasn’t excited about it. I never thought there was a stripe piece of clothing that I wouldn’t like but there is! Could this be true? Me not like something that has stripes? Yup. Let’s mark this day. This skirt has potential but it fails in so many areas. It’s fully lined and the material is very thin. The shape is very unflattering on me and I don’t like how the skirt lays. The only thing I do like is the piping on the front and back yoke. Not digging the vertical stripes paired with the horizontal waist band and I wish the zipper was in the back middle instead of the side. I was also disappointed they didn’t add pockets! Size down if you’re planning on get this skirt. Buy it HERE.

I agree! Lately, Ann Taylor has not been stealing my breath away as it had used to (circa 2009/2010 when I literally wanted to buy everything haha) style wise (yawn), sizing wise is a bit off, and quality seems to have gone down with fabric and lining 🙁
Right?!! I used to love so much stuff but they have fallen off. I hope they take a clue and get back on track!

The maxi skirt looks great on you! Quick question, I just got a maxi dress from anthropologie (love it!) and can’t decide if I need take the length up or not. What is the right length? Is it ok if my shoes don’t show at all?
I think it’s all personal preference! It’s okay if your shoes don’t show as long as it’s not dragging on the floor:)
