What to Wear to a Dinner Party When You’re on a Budget

Do you have a party or an event to attend this Summer? I have the perfect dress for you! Even if you don’t have anywhere to go, you can still wear this dress because well…why wouldn’t you for $17? Yes, that’s right, it’s only $17. I wore this little number to a surprise birthday party recently and it was not only a big hit but it was super comfortable (plenty of room for your belly to expand).

I’m really happy with the fit and quality. The material is a neoprene/scuba fabric but it’s not bulky or heavy. The dress drapes nicely and the pleats lay perfectly. Don’t worry, it’s not too poofy either. The only thing that I need to point out is the un-finished hem but you can’t really tell unless you look really closely.

I added a black bow belt (similar HERE) but this dress looks cute without one too. The armholes and bodice fit me nicely. I’m really happy that the length wasn’t too short.

Shoulders 12.5″, armpits 14″, waist 12.5″, length 33″

I finally got these red bow sandals and I like them much better than my pink closed toes (see previous post HERE). Sizing does run 1/2 larger (for me) and is available in whole sizes only. If you wear half sizes, then I’d recommend sizing down. For instance, if you’re a size 6.5, then get a size 6. Hope this helps!
