Fitting Room Reviews: Ann Taylor and Loft

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these posts. I have to say, it’s not easy changing in and out of your clothes while you’re pregnant. I get tired super quick but I suffer for the greater good of the blog (lol).

You know I love lace and this top is very pretty. Comes in two colors (see whisper white version below). I adore the scalloped hem with eyelash fringe trim. Sizing runs generous so I’d recommend sizing down. Vanity sizing is actually working out for me now that I’m expecting. You’ll definitely need to add a cami underneath. Love it and would recommend.

It’s hard to see the detail of this shirt but the polka dots are burgundy colored. This blouse is very flowy and drapey. Sizing runs generous so size down if you plan on getting it. It’s a hi-low hem with button tabs at sleeves. This will be great for transitioning into Fall. Seems very comfortable and is doesn’t wrinkle (yay!). Would recommend.

I’m still unsure about this dress but it does seem very comfortable. Sizing runs slightly large and I’m not loving the print however it could be great for Fall.

This is the whisper white version of the lace tee from above. I like both colors and would recommend.

Painterly midi dress (xxsp) // Talbots sandals // Mint nail polish

This midi dress fit nicely but the print isn’t for me. I think it would work better on someone taller.

It’s hard to tell the detail of this striped lace top because the lighting was so terrible but the color is in fact navy. It’s actually very pretty in real life and it fits nicely. Armholes are small and length is great for someone my height. Would be great for layering with a cardigan or blazer for Fall. Would recommend.

I posted this dress awhile back and I really like it! The print is pretty and great for Summer. The length was perfect on me (wearing flats) and everything fit well. I didn’t get it back when I tried it on but now I’m thinking I may pick it up. Very comfortable and soft. Would recommend.

I have no idea where these fitting room pics are. I searched everywhere and clearly my pregnant brain is kicking in. I do remember that the paisley full skirt ran big in the waist as do most Ann Taylor skirts. The tie neck shell and lacy cap sleeve blouse both fit decent. The twill moto jacket is cute and would be great piece for the upcoming Fall season. If you’re in need of a classic petite trench coat for Fall, this one looks promising.
