Hi everyone! Today’s post is featuring this adorable gingham peplum top. It fits right over my growing baby bump. 🙂
I used to get so mad about vanity sizing but now, I don’t mind it so much. Haha. Seriously, this top runs pretty big so I’d recommend sizing down. Here are the measurements of size XXSP:
shoulders 12″, armpits 16″, waist 16″, front length 20.5″, back length 24″.
The length is shorter in the front and here is the what the back looks like:
I noticed that the small hook in the back came un-done very easily so I may consider either putting a button there instead or a better closure. I’ve been enjoying this pregnancy journey. It’s difficult at times especially when I don’t have an appetite or get super bloated. Every day is a blessing and I couldn’t be happier! I can’t wait to meet this little bambino. We should be finding out the sex soon so stay tuned…so excited!
Are you wondering how on earth I’m still fitting into my old jeans? I’m using this nifty hair tie trick to wear my pre-pregnancy jeans through my first and second trimester.
Pregnancy DIY Tip: Take an elastic hair tie, loop around the button and through the button hole bringing both ends together. I use a larger black hair tie but wanted something bright so you can see each step clearly.
Obviously you’ll need shirts that are long enough to cover this. I’ll probably invest some type of belly band or get some maternity jeans (eventually) but I’m holding off and wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes for as long as possible!
As always, thank you for stopping by and taking time out of your busy schedule to read my blog. I always appreciate you! Have a great day! XO
