Today marks the official first day of fall but it sure doesn’t feel like it here in Southern California with the scorching temperatures. It’s hot as heck and we are still fighting through this crazy heat wave. I’m dreaming of cooler weather so I can wear clothing like today’s featured item, this sleeveless trench coat and I’ll show you how to wear it two different ways.
I was really impressed at how dense this coat is. I was expecting it to be much thinner and lighter but in fact, the quality is very nice! It’s great that you can wear it as either a dress or a coat.

I’m wearing an XS and the measurements are:bust 16.75″ laying flat, waist (un-belted) 17.75″, total length 34.5″.
You can wear it un-buttoned so it’s more of a vest.
The coat runs true to size…maybe even slightly on the larger side. The major plus side is that it’s machine washable. Woo hoo! I love being able to skip the dry cleaners, especially for a heavier piece like this.

The classic style of this makes it easier to wear with your outfits. The neutral color will go with nearly everything and the material seems to hold up nicely without wrinkling. You can wear this dress sleeveless or add a top underneath. I think it looks much cuter with a shirt peeking out but if you live in a warmer climate and like it as a dress, then sleeveless is the way to go.
