Let me start by saying how wonderful it is to be pregnant. At 25 weeks, I absolutely love it and am thankful every single day for this blessing. The one thing I did not anticipate was the difficulty in finding cute maternity clothing that was actually comfortable to wear without being frumpy. Being only 5′ tall, shopping for regular clothes is always a challenge but finding petite friendly maternity clothes is even more difficult!
Starting recently at around 23-25 weeks is when my baby bump started really growing and I’ve had to start looking for maternity clothes. I don’t want to spend a fortune and so I was so happy when I discovered the Liz Lange collection at Target! The clothing not only looks fantastic but also fits nicely (and is petite friendly)!
I’ve learned throughout my pregnancy that form fitting clothes with some stretch is most flattering on my petite frame. It complements the pregnancy curves and makes me proudly display my bump! Personally, I love clothings from lilac maternity. They are a bit pricey but it says it is designed for all stages of a woman’s life – ie it’s good for during pregnancy and beyond!
