Ankle booties are hard to find and when you find a style you like, why not get all the colors? I love the dip in the front, the simple classic style and the chunky 3″ heel make it so comfy to wear all day. See the full outfit post HERE. Another good option are these Hillsy almond toe ankle booties (comes in 2 colors). It has a slightly taller shaft but a similar dip in the front and a chunkier, higher heel. Same price for both but slightly different styles.

If you’re petite, you may want to consider getting a pair of big kids Hunter boots. I’m wearing size 4 and it’s comparable to a women’s size 5 – 5.5. If you’re a small size 6, you could possibly fit a size 4. There’s a little bit of room but with thick socks, it fits fine. The shaft height measures 13″ and the calf circumference is 15″. The circumference is loose when worn with bare legs but over jeans and leggings, it fits nicely.

The only thing I want to point out is that the kids version has reflectors in the back which isn’t the most attractive but doesn’t really bother me. If you need women’s sizing, you can shop all the colors and styles HERE.

I’ve been coveting these Stuart Weitzman highland over the knee boots for several seasons and finally decided to splurge on them. Each year, my size and color always sells out so this time I was not about to take any chances. The price tag is insane and I never really understood what all the hype was about but once I put these babies on, I was in love. You wouldn’t think a petite gal with short legs could pull off these type of boots but I think they look great! They feel more like thigh high boots than over the knee boots but nonetheless, they are amazing and worth it. The color I’m wearing is topo suede and it looks slightly different in person than it does online. These boots are great for ladies with small calves. The heel measures 3.5″, shaft is 24″ and calf circumference is 13″. They stretch on and tie in the back at the very top. The boots run TTS (true to size). I took my normal size 5 and they have a tiny bit of room without socks. With socks on they fit me perfectly. They come in six colors and I would highly recommend them. Worth the investment! If you prefer a flat version, then I would suggest the Lowland over the knee boots. Another great and more affordable alternative are these Saffri over the knee boots for a fraction of the price.
