Obviously this week has been all about plaid coats! It’s been scorching hot in California but that is not going to stop me from sharing some great Fall outfits with you. Yes I was sweating like crazy during this shoot but that’s okay I will suffer for you ladies. 🙂
I love how classic this plaid coat is, it’s simple and clean. I’m wearing size small however had to make some adjustments. The coat runs very long so if you are a tall gal, then you should be fine but if you’re petite, I would suggest bringing up the length so it doesn’t overwhelm your small frame.
After making some adjustments, I’m happy with how the coat fits sans alterations. The measurements BEFORE alterations were:
shoulders 14″, armpits 18″ (coat buttoned), sleeves 23″ and total length 35″.
Here are the current measurements after shortening the sleeves:
sleeves 20″, total length 30″.
