Fall and Winter fashion are finally here and I could not be more thrilled as I finally get to wear boots! Boot season is the best isn’t it? Finding high quality footwear that comfortably fits petite feet has always been challenging. Johnston & Murphy truly came to the rescue with these Meridith boots. The cognac color is simply gorgeous and goes with everything! It’s also available in a classic black color HERE.
They feature richly burnished calfskin and sheepskin lining and a leather sole with rubber inset for enhanced flexibility and durability. These boots proudly display the highest levels of quality which you do not find anywhere else these days. What’s even better is the memory-foam cushioned insole, which is like a spa for my feet and could not be more refreshing for my pregnancy foot aches! I am so looking forward to wearing these throughout the Fall and Winter seasons while I’m and out and about in my city. I need footwear that is easy to take off and put on and thank goodness these offer an inside zipper for on/off ease!
Now let’s talk specifics. These boots have a 3″ stacked heel which is great for all day comfort. The shaft measures approximately 16″ and has a 14″ circumference (14.5″ at the top opening). Sizing starts at 6, and even though I’m normally a size 5, with thick socks on, these fit and run true to size.
