Review: Ann Taylor, Loft and Goodnight Macaroon

Ivy Pencil Skirt – I love the ivy print and was really excited about getting this! I haven’t worn a pencil skirt for so long and was hoping this would work out. I ordered 0P since 00P was sold out and it fits decent on me since I still have some pregnancy weight to lose. Not sure how it will fit once I (hopefully) will get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. The material is 96% cotton so there is no stretch. If you have wide hips or want a more comfortable fit, I’d recommend sizing up. The length is great for work and the skirt is fully lined. It has a back zipper and vented back hem. Would recommend. This print also comes in a tee version HERE.

Tie neck blouse – I have a thing for tie neck blouses and this one is no exception! I love that it doesn’t have buttons so you don’t have to worry about the blouse puckering. The pink fizz color is so pretty. The blouse is semi-sheer so you may need to wear a cami underneath or just make sure to wear a nude bra. I love it and would recommend! You can buy it HERE.

Double gusset crossbody bag – This is a great bag to run errands with and doubles as a clutch. Comes in 7 different colors and is currently on major sale! Rose cloud is my favorite but if pink isn’t your thing, then I would recommend the fresh ink (navy) or silver lake grey. The strap is detachable and you can use the bag as a clutch for a night out. It’s the perfect size for petites and the strap isn’t too long. Measures: 10″ W x 6′ H x 2″ D and the strap is 44″ long. The material is faux leather but looks and feels like real leather – very nice quality. Would recommend! Buy it HERE.

Dotted two-in-one sweater – This is one of the items from my Loft haul that I was most excited about and it definitely met my expectations. I love that it’s simple and easy to wear. The dotted shirttail hem is the perfect accent and is the right length for petites. The material is 100% cotton and very soft and comfortable. Runs true to size but if you want a more relaxed fit, I’d recommend sizing up. The sleeves are long on me but this comes as no surprise since I have shorter arms than most. I would highly recommend! I purchased this lacey mixed media top in both winter white and fresh grapefruit. I like the crisp winter white color better. The top runs on the wider side but it’s meant to have a more flowy look to it. I love the details and the top is very pretty however I don’t like that you can see your bra strap. I’m not going to wear a strapless (who has time for this?) with this type of top so this could be a deal breaker for me. Pretty concept but possibly a return. You can buy it HERE.
