One thing I missed while pregnant was being able to wear flared dresses. Β I’m loving this dress so much! Β It’s simple, classic and very versatile. Β I’m happy to report it’s also petite friendly too!

Β It’ll be awhile before I can squeeze into a bathing suit and since some things cannot be unseen, I’ll save your eyes from going blind. lol

Β I’m wearing size 4 UK which is equivalent to a 00P in US sizes. Β There isn’t much stretch in the waist or bust area so if you have a larger chest, I’d recommend sizing up. Β The length is great for petite gals (I’m 5′ tall) – no alterations needed. Β I paired this dress with a red cardiganΒ (buyΒ HERE)Β and added a vintage anchor brooch to give it a nautical twist. Β I wanted to define my postpartum waistline so I added a cute red bow belt. Β For more of a casual look, you can swap out heels for some flats and throw on a denim jacket.

Β They always have such unique pieces (and affordable) that you usually can’t find anywhere else. Β I love the vintage, whimsical vibe that they offer. Β Plus they have an easy return and exchange policy which is great especially if you are in-between sizes. Β One of my all time favorite items is THIS SKIRT. Β It’s by far the one piece in my wardrobe that I get the most compliments on.
This polka dot beauty is another favorite dress I got recently. Β If you love polka dots, you’re going to go crazy for this dress. Β It’s so comfortable and looks great worn alone (love the neckline and sleeves) or with a cardigan. Β The dress runs on the smaller side and doesn’t have any stretch. Β If you’re similar in size to me, then size small should fit you perfectly.

  1. Hi there! I love that polka dot dress SO much! It looks adorable on you! Can you tell me the waist measurement though? I’m not sure if we’re the same size since I weigh a little more than you (97-98 lbs), but I’m also a bit taller (a whopping 5’3 haha).

  2. Don’t fret about a bathing suit. Modcloth carries esther williams suits. They are amazing. I love my esther williams polka dot suit. Remember took 9 months to make a baby. Give yourself 9 months to get back to shape safely and healthy.
