Now that I’m a new mommy, I’m lucky if I have fifteen minutes to get ready. Sometimes I barely brush my hair let alone put makeup on. That said, I wouldn’t trade it for the world because my daughter Milan is everything to me and worth giving up everything for! A few extra minutes during the day can make a huge difference when you have new baby. In order to be efficient, I’ve become pretty strategic about narrowing down my makeup routine to just the basics. This way I don’t look like a zombie and I don’t waste time applying anything unnecessary. I’ve simplified a quick and very easy beauty routine to make you look put together, yet natural. You can accomplish this look in ten minutes or less – sometimes I can get it done in only five!

Burt’s Bees® Lipsticks // Polka dot bow jewelry box // Burt’s Bees® BB Cream// Gold lipstick mug // EcoTools® Brushes // Peonies // Gold vanity tray // Pink cake stand
To start, I use Burt’s Bees® BB Cream in medium shade – it’s available in three shades (light, light/medium and medium). I don’t like when foundation or makeup looks heavy or obvious so that’s why I love the lightweight coverage of this BB Cream and how it conceals and reduces the appearance of my fine lines and wrinkles. Since I live in sunny California, I need all the sun protection I can get so obviously I was thrilled that this contains SPF15 and doesn’t leave a thick or sticky residue on my skin. I don’t know about you but if it protects my skin, conceals my flaws and imperfections (and I have a lot of them) and feels light and airy, then it’s definitely a winner in my book.

P.S – Since my pregnancy, I’ve become more health conscious and aware of what I apply on my body. The best part is that Burt’s Bees® products are free of parabens, phthalates, petroleum, SLS and are never tested on animals! Plus the EcoTools® brushes are responsibly made with cruelty free bristles and bamboo handles. You can pick up the EcoTools® (located in the cosmetic accessories section) and Burt’s Bees® products (located in the natural beauty section) in any Walmart stores.
