Temperatures are already heating up and it’s not even officially Summer yet. I thought by moving near the coast, I would get to enjoy some mild temperatures but the past couple years have been hot as heck!

It’s been difficult finding clothes that are nursing friendly and comfortable (both very important factors right now). So obviously when I find a great dress that checks off everything I want, I feel the need to shout it out from the rooftops!

I love outfits that make me feel my best and don’t require too much effort because well let’s face it, I have zero spare time these days! I’m obsessed with this blue striped flare dress. I love everything about it. The color, subtle stripes and the self-tie sash. Not to mention the elastic waist is great for hiding my food baby after a good meal. It’s simple yet chic, easy to wear and I can nurse in it. Check, check and check. Woo hoo!

The only thing that would make this dress even more perfect is if it had pockets. Yes pockets just make everything better. LOL

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the hi-lo hem but it actually works and looks very cute. Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing XS. This dress fits me nicely and I’m happy to report, it’s petite friendly! FYI – the arm holes aren’t too wide either!

In case you’re wondering if the dress is see-through, it’s not (yay!). The bottom half is lined so nothing shows through but it’s always best to wear nude undergarments if you’re concerned. 🙂

I love how versatile this dress is. Wear it to brunch with the girls, for date night with your boo or take it to the beach. You can pretty much wear it anywhere. Plus the light and soft fabric will keep you cool during the Summer months. This would also be a great dress to take on vacation!

One thing I wanted to point out was the self-tie sash. You can choose to tie your bow in the front middle, front side or even in the back – whatever floats your boat. I think it looks best when tied in the front middle. Wondering how to tie your bow so it looks fluffy and perfect? I’m working on a tutorial on how to tie the perfect bow (stay tuned).
