Today is all about spring dresses! You know I love dresses and prefer wearing them over anything else. I’ve always been this way and maybe because I’m a girly girl at heart. Putting on a pretty dress instantly makes me feel happy. I found so many great ones for spring under $100 including this polkadot beauty!
Navy, polka dots and a pop of yellow? This has to be one of my favorite combos. They go together so well. I’m head over heels in love with this dress. Obviously the polka dots had me right way but the yellow waist band just tops it off. Then I realized that there were pockets and may have squealed (lol). It’s the little details that make all the difference. 🙂
Sizing runs small which is great news for petite gals! The dress has no stretch so I’d recommend going up 1-2 sizes if you are unsure. I’m wearing XXS and it fits me like a glove. The quality is amazing and the skirt portion is fully lined. The top part is very stretchy and comfortable. I adore the midi length – makes the dress very lady like and work appropriate.
The pleated yellow waist band is everything and makes the whole dress complete. It also defines your waist and makes it look smaller – major bonus.

This dress proves you can dress modest and still look stylish. That’s why I love ModCloth so much. They have vintage style fashion that is both modest and classic yet not boring. I have so many great pieces from them and they never disappoint. I also love that they carry a variety of sizes including XXS.
I can also see this paired with a pair of sandals and a tote for a more casual look. I love dresses that are versatile and can take you from desk to dinner without having to change. You can wear it on the weekends, to brunch, shopping with the girls – basically anywhere! Add a cute floppy hat and spend a day at the beach. Love it to pieces and would recommend!
