I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of black distressed jeans and have had zero luck. I’ve tried on countless pairs and they all seem to have something wrong with them. Jeans are so hard for me to shop for. I started to think it wasn’t meant for me to have a pair. Well…I finally found a pair and they fit perfectly!
This is my third pair of Topshop jeans and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I also have these dark gray ones and highly recommend them (see on me HERE). These black jeans are AMAZING and make me look like I have long legs when I really don’t (lol). They have just the right amount of distressing and the rips on the knees actually land on my knees (so rare). The denim is very soft and stretchy – almost feels like leggings. Extremely comfortable and do not stretch out throughout the day. Love it!
Sizing runs small so I’d recommend sizing up. I’m wearing size 24×28 and they fit me snug but not too tight (I can still breathe and eat). I’m loving high waisted jeans lately – they really do elongate your legs! The inseam is 25″ which is great for petite gals. I cuff them once but could get away with wearing them un-cuffed as well. Topshop sizing can be a bit tricky if you’re unfamiliar with the brand. Here’s a helpful guide when shopping for Topshop denim:
Helpful tip – for other Topshop items, it’s always best to order your size in parenthesis for the best fit. If you’re similar in size to me, I usually take US0 which is comparable to 00P in other retailers. For petite denim, I wear 24×28 and 25×30 (fits like a 24″ waist) in regular denim.
How cute is this scallop neck fluted sweater? It had my name written all over it so obviously I had to have it. It’s only $40 and petite friendly? Sold.
