Warning! This post today is very pic heavy! #sorrynotsorry I couldn’t for the life of me whittle down to only 5-7 of my favorites because well…Milan steals my heart and there are no bad photos of her EVER (lol). It’s been awhile since she’s made an appearance on the blog so I thought it was time she say hello again!
I’ve been told not to buy too many clothes for your kids because they outgrow them so fast. While this is true, how can I NOT go crazy? It’s so much fun shopping for Milan and one of the joys of being a mommy! It’s like having a life size doll to play dress up with. Plus who knows how long I have before she’ll be dressing herself. She’s already trying to tell me that she wants to pick out her “outfit” to go “blogging”. LOL #whathaveigotmyselfinto
As you probably know, I shop at Nordstrom frequently – way more than I care to admit (lol). They have the best selection for kids apparel, shoes and accessories. There’s a wide range of price points to suit everyones needs and most are very affordable. I like knowing I’m paying for quality especially when it comes to Milan’s clothes. Let’s face it, kids clothes take a beating (lol). My favorite brands for kids clothes include Tucker + Tate, Pippa & Julie, Burt’s Bee’s and Mini Boden. You can see more brands HERE.
Here are some of my items I’m currently loving for Milan:
Nordstrom Kids Apparel Favorites
How adorable is this plaid flannel dress? I couldn’t resist! Sizing runs a bit large. Milan is pretty small and size 18 months still has plenty of room for her to grow into. Too bad there’s not an adult version because I would be all over it! I love twinning with Milan. 🙂

I just love her dress and sweater dress set so much! It’s definitely something I would wear. Give me all the pink and lace please! The sweater is removable so you can wear the dress alone (so cute), with a denim jacket or a cardigan. Sizing runs true to size and Milan is wearing size 18 months. It fits her perfectly however the matching bloomers kept falling off (lol). This set is also available in toddler, little and big girl sizes HERE. When shopping for Milan, I look for outfits that will be comfortable for her to wear and machine washable.
The biggest perk about shopping for kids clothes online at Nordstrom is the free shipping and free returns. I have no time or patience to go rummaging through racks and fighting crowds with a toddler. If you’ve ever taken a toddler shopping before, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m all about online shopping – so much easier and saves me time. It’s such a relief to be able to shop in the comfort of my own home. Love it!
If you happen to love bunnies as much as Milan does, I got her this bunny backpack and it’s the cutest thing ever! Love that you can machine wash it. Girlfriend refused to wear it when we took these photos but wanted to share anyway. 🙂
Looking at these photos of Milan is bitter sweet for me. She looks so grown and I’m in major denial that she will be turning two years old in a few short months. I can’t seem to wrap my mind around it! Where has the time gone?
