As a full time blogger, I spend an insane amount of time browsing and shopping online. Can we say #dreamjob? Haha just kidding but seriously though shopping is definitely my strong suit (lol). The best part about my job is being able to share great deals with you! I get such a rush from it and I have no idea why. I love to splurge on certain items but all in all, I love a good sale. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to look stylish and if you shop smart, your wallet will thank you.
Call me thrifty, cheap or whatever you want but I say it’s smart to scour for deals. I used to LOVE going into Nordstrom Rack to find deals but I dreaded the lines that wrapped around the store…omg they were so long! It’s so much easier for me to shop online and WAY faster too. I basically shop online 99% of the time now. There’s something to be said about shopping in your pajamas (lol).
This pleated hem cami was available at Nordstrom and it sold out so fast I didn’t even have a chance to get it. Low and behold, I find it at Nordstrom Rack in all sizes! I posted it on Instagram and well needless to say all the small sizes sold out instantly. Love that how you gals don’t waste any time (lol). The price is too good to resist!
These AG stilt crop skinny jeans (see review HERE) is a GREAT deal considering they’re designer jeans. I never understood how people could spend over $100 on jeans but since getting my first pair of premium denim, I get it. If you find a brand that fits you well, it’s worth it (in my opinion).
I love these jeans so much however I wish the bottoms were a bit more tapered. The inseam is perfect for petites and no cuffing needed! This is a great example of how stock images online can be misleading. It looks HORRIBLE on the model and I almost didn’t order it based on the photo. Luckily it looks way better in person.
I try not to buy things based on price because they always seem to end up in the donations pile but this shawl cardigan is 78% off! It was $124 and now it’s on sale for under $27! I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit but I’m so glad I ordered it. The length is perfect and I love the color.
I don’t know if it’s pure luck or what but I have been scoring so many things at Nordstrom Rack lately. They have some seriously great deals! #notsponsored 🙂
These Paige Denim Verdugo olive jeans are my best find yet (see on me HERE).

People always ask how I manage to score such great deals? Here’s how…
HOW TO SCORE THE BEST DEALS
- Shop online. It’s easier, faster and you can browse more stores in a shorter period of time without even leaving the comfort of your own home.
- Bookmark your favorites and wait for a sale. This is a great way to stalk items that are sold out because inventory changes daily and most of the time your size will pop back up. You just have to be diligent about checking. You can also add a bookmark to your mobile phone as an icon – this works wonders!
- Scour the sale section. Retailers are constantly trying to get rid of inventory (both online and in store) and new items will be added to the sale section weekly and sometimes even daily. Analyze each store’s pattern for adding new sale items and be the first to check.
- Coupon codes (if applicable). This doesn’t always apply but you’d be surprised at how often you find codes that may not have been advertised and sometimes even stackable with the current online promotion.
- Keep an open mind. I used to ONLY shop for petite items but one thing I’ve learned over the years is that it doesn’t have to be petite size to be petite friendly. Also, try not to be too stuck on certain brands. Of course we all have our favorite stores but it’s always good to try new brands – you may be surprised! I’ve been venturing out lately and it’s paid off. 🙂
Great post! Thanks so much for sharing!
Hope it helps 🙂

Thank you for the tips on how to score the best deals. I also love Nordstrom Rack but I do better in the store than online. My store rarely has lines and sometimes I just really need to try things on and look around, especially if I don’t need anything special. Love all your posts!
These are great tips for finding good deals! I need to start shopping at Nordstrom Rack more!
