mommy and me christmas photo idea tulle skirt matching beanies

Hope you had an amazing holiday!  We had such a wonderful time.  Milan was so happy and excited about Christmas.  It was a blast watching her open gifts and seeing that innocent sparkle in her eye when she saw Santa come down the stairs.  I was expecting her to be a bit wild but she was so behaved and tame.  She is so precious.  I didn’t get too many photos this year of us but this one was my favorite.  On another note, there are so many after Christmas sales going on.  Nordstrom is having their half yearly sale.  Get up to 50% off until January 2nd.  Lot of markdowns worth checking out!  Ann Taylor is having a semi-annual sale, get up to 70% off off.  I love this waffle stitch cardigan and this shoulder tie sweater (only $16).  My green lace top is now an extra 60% off (see on me HERE)!  Get 50% off everything at Loft (bought this cascade open cardigan).  Click READ MORE for the complete list of sales!

Milan and I wore our matching Christmas pajamas just like last year and I’ve decided that we will continue this tradition until…well FOREVER. 🙂 These beach photos were taken by my friend Annie Vovan during our recent play date.  We met through Instagram and quickly learned how much we have in common!  We both have the same first name, come from a family of 7 and have toddler girls the same age! Crazy right?  She heard that I don’t have very many photos of Milan and I together so she offered to take some for me.  Bless her heart!

Milan got her first train set, tea cup set, this adorable linen bunny apron, a toaster kitchen set, fire station playset and the best gift of all was this plush dog toothbrushing buddy.  She finally has allowed me to brush her teeth without her crying!  It was a Christmas miracle!

Now I have to get busy planning Milan’s second birthday which is right around the corner.  This little human is growing up way too fast for me.  I’m trying to keep it together but it’s so hard.  Part of me wants her to stay little forever but I’m so excited to see her grow up.  She is my everything and I feel incredibly blessed.  XO
