I always thought something was wrong with me because I feel so strange in pants. Am I the only one with this issue? I had sworn off pants all together until the last few years. I got these comfort side zip up pants recently and honestly was not expecting to like them at all. Once I put them on, I was like omg these are seriously amazing! They’re very slimming and flattering. I couldn’t believe how comfortable they were too! It’s like being able to wear leggings to work. Say what? Yessss….they are that comfortable and you don’t have to worry about the awkward fear of camel toe (lol). Also, the back has welt pockets so they look like real pants.
Sizing runs on the smaller side. I find this to be true for a lot of White House Black Market items – which is why I love their petite collection so much. I haven’t found too many “vanity sizing” issues and this has been the case for as long as I can remember. Less frustration for petite gals. These pants come in four different sizes: petite, regular, short and long. I’m wearing my normal size 00 petite and it fits like a glove. No alterations needed and the inseam is perfect.
The material is a thicker ponte fabric so it’s great for the office but you can absolutely wear these casually with flats. They have a little bit of stretch but held their shape for an entire day. Love them to death and would highly recommend.
This tipped bow sleeve sweater is my favorite sweater right now and SO me. The short sleeve with bow detail is perfection. Sizing runs small and I’m wearing size XXS petite.

I just sort of “discovered” WHBM this year. Bought my first pair of pants from them. As a curvy petite gal, their anti-vanity sizing is a little discouraging 😉 but at least I know exactly how things will fit. I must check these out since I need new black pants for fall. I can relate to pants sometimes not feeling right. As a child I refused to wear pants because I had weird sensory issues and couldn’t deal with the sensation of fabric encasing my legs. It’s why i only wear slim cut pants as an adult (and no corduroys ever). I can’t deal with fabric moving around my legs.

Too high waisted for petites with a short torso it leaves you looking shorter. Not flattering. Maybe if you wore the shirt out over the top. I would not wear these. I’m 5’1″ not flattering.

Oh my goodness! These pants, bow sleeve sweater and cardigan came today. I am normally a 0-2 petite. I took the 2’s. They fit beautifully. Not a fan of side zippers, but the pants have a lot of give so I don’t have to be a contortionist to get on. Drapey cardigan.fits perfectly. Not too long on my 4’11” frame. Bow sweater is very sweet.
