Cowl Neck Cable Knit Sweater, Leopard Satchel + OTK boots

It’s finally starting to cool down and I couldn’t be happier.  I feel like SoCal likes to tease us with fall weather.  Just when you think you can break out your sweaters, the heat wave comes back.  I’m so over it and need some cooler temps so I can wear all my fall clothes (lol).  Today I’m sharing this super cozy cowl neck cable knit sweater.  It reminds me of my favorite one from last year HERE.

Sometimes I feel like a sweater hoarder..is there even such a thing?  Probably but I love them and wear them basically every single day even when it’s not technically sweater weather (lol).  I run cold so it saves me from having to bring an extra piece of clothing with me when I leave the house.

I’m loving this sweater so much!  It comes in regular and petite sizes.  I’m wearing size XXS regular and sizing runs true to size.  I’m so confused as to why the regular sizes have 5 colors and petites only get two.  WTH.  Makes no sense.  I would love more color options in petites!  I may or may not have gotten the oatmeal color and also got picked up this cable knit turtleneck sweater – SO CUTE with jeans.

I love this saddle brown color so much that I decided to get XXS regular instead of my normal XXS petite.  The length is longer than the petite size but not sure by how much (sorry).  I haven’t had a chance to measure exactly how much but I definitely will try to tomorrow and update this post.  I’m guessing the petite size will be less bulky and more proportional.  I tucked in the front just to show you what it looks like so you have options.  Which way do you like better?

  1. Nice sweater but if wore out and since it’s longer, it would look better with riding boots or flats. As the OTK boot almost meets the sweater. Also recd the Macy’s poncho and ordered both petite and regular and kept the regular. It’s always so hard to know? And the regular cost less?
    Love it, thank you!

  2. I know what you mean about less colour selection in petites. One sweater I was interested in purchasing was available in 8 colours in regular sizing but only one colour was offered in petite!! And don’t get me started on why items are sometimes on sale in regular sizes but not in the petite size! Lol!!
I really missed the mark on the Maison Jules striped sweater you recently posted. They are already sold out in XXS
I usually look for sweaters that are slightly fitted because as much as I love the chunky/slouchy ones I tend to disappear in them and they hang like a sack on me. Would love if you could do a couple of reviews on more form fitting sweaters for tiny ladies! You have no idea how much your blog helps!☺

    • Isn’t it weird that brands do this to petites? It’s almost as if we get punished LOL Oh no about the MJ sweater – XXS hasn’t popped back up? I agree – I love fitted tops and sweaters – way more flattering. I will keep an eye out for more 🙂

  3. Hi! love your blog. I ordered the sweater and GM boots and just wanted to say LOVE the boots and glad I found them through you! Wish they had the saddle brown sweater in petite as the regular size was too wide for me. Also got the JCPenney boots and a various other things you recommended. Love them all! You and your daughter are adorbs! xoxoxo

  4. Just got two sweater in XSP and it was still too big. I’ll have to return it and try a different size.

  5. You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I find this matter to be actually one thing which I think I’d never understand.
It kind of feels too complex and very large for me.
I’m having a look ahead for your next post, I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!

  11. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her
ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched
her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I
    had to tell someone!
