Lulu’s Blush Crochet Lace Mini Dress (plus packing tips)

I survived my move today (barely).  It was one of the toughest moves I’ve ever done!

I’ve bought and sold a million homes in the past but this move was particularly difficult for me.  Lots of painful memories and I just didn’t have enough time to pack.  So much harder with a three year old.  She demands a lot of attention at this age so it made packing almost impossible.   There were many moments where I honestly didn’t think I was going to be able to pull this off.

I definitely had my share of breakdowns but I did it.  I lucked out and chose a great moving company and the two guys I got were so kind and accommodating.  I ran out of moving storage bins at the last minute.  I use THESE to pack with instead of traditional boxes.  They are so much easier and protect your stuff plus you can re-use them for storage.  I would recommend using these heavy duty ones for kitchen items or shoes.  Needless to say I had many of these for all my shoes. LOL

I can honestly say I haven’t been this exhausted or overwhelmed in a long time.  This move took a toll on me.  Now as the house is quiet and I have a few minutes to breathe and think, I am so grateful for this new beginning.  I’m getting choked up writing this because it has been a TOUGH year.  Words cannot begin to describe everything I have been through.  I am lucky and very fortunate to be able to buy this home for Milan and give her the life that she deserves.  WE DESERVE IT.

I bought this dress to wear to an upcoming wedding and it is GORGEOUS.  I wore it out a couple of times already and received so many compliments.  Sizing runs small and I’m wearing XS.  Fits like a 00 petite.  Very nice quality and not low-cut.  Love and would recommend.  I’m going to try to get some rest because I have a lot of work ahead of me! XX 🙂
