Shopping for clothes can be overwhelming and sometimes daunting. Shopping for clothes when you’re petite can be very challenging but it doesn’t have to be!
Don’t get me wrong, I love being petite however it has it’s moments. Finding clothes that fit properly without having to spend a lot of money on alterations can be frustrating which is one of the main reasons why I started my blog in the first place.
Petite Studio is an Indie brand based in NYC that makes investment pieces for petites. I was really excited to see another option for us petite gals.
One of the things that I noticed immediately upon receiving my package was the quality of their clothes. I was so impressed. One of their core values is making pieces that will last for years. I used to buy everything and anything but as I get older and wiser, I prefer to have quality over quantity.
Each garment takes an average of 20 hours to produce compared to the 4 hours at other fast fashion production lines. The attention to detail is very impressive. From the design to the fabrics that they select, you can tell that everything is carefully thought out.
This burgundy cashmere blend coat is so cozy. Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing XXS. You can wear it with the belt and shearling collar remove the collar and wear without the belt for a more casual look. It’s also available in this neutral oatmeal color.
Are you shocked to see me in pants? Ha! Pants has always been a struggle for me but these Petite Studio Azalea camel pants fit so nicely with NO alterations. I love the high waist and cropped length. The D-ring belt helps cinch and define the waist. The pockets are an added bonus.
Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing XXS. As a reference in case you’re new to the blog, I’m under 5′ tall and weigh 92 lbs.
These pants will also look great paired with a black top and black heels for an evening look.
This Ingrid sweater in oatmeal is a vintage inspired piece. I love the neutral color – so versatile and will pair with everything. It comes with a removable belt that you use to wear over a skirt. Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing XXS.
