There was an empty wall in my kitchen that needed some sprucing up. I decided to add some white floating shelves to fill the space and love how it turned out!
Before we get into the floating shelves, just wanted to talk about these faux pink peonies again. They were a big hit on social media so wanted to talk about them here. I bought 10 bundles (this is what is shown). Each stem has two peonies. You’ll need to get a wire cutter to cut the stems. Normal scissors will not work. I love them so much and they look super real. They’re available in white and blush pink.

Back to my floating shelves…in full disclosure, they are not the best quality but they were the only ones that had the dimensions I needed and the thickness I was going for. I may do a little more research and try to find better quality ones but I just don’t have the patience right now. They don’t hold a lot of weight (these hold up to 11-13 lbs. depending on size) so be very careful how much you put on each shelf. I love the look of open shelving. It just adds a little something and you can change up the look by simply switching out the items you’re displaying.
Such a beautiful kitchen! It looks clean & classy!
Your kitchen looks amazing. Love the way you decorated it with flowers. And the mix of white& gray & pink colors. Interesting if you found the better quality of those floating shelves, that could hold more of weight… Thanks in advance.

Again I am amazed at how simply and effectively you explain things. Thanks for this one. I have been struggling with it for years.
