34 Weeks Pregnancy Update

34 weeks pregnancy baby bump letter board organic happy onsie pink bow hat

Almost 35 weeks.  I’m in the home stretch.  I apologize for the lack of posts.  It’s been a struggle lately…

My carpal tunnel has been so severe that it’s hard to function.  I can’t sleep and can barely do normal day to day tasks.  I have a high threshold for pain so people who know me know that this pain is on a whole new level.  I’ve tried everything from epson salt baths, massages and even wearing wrist supports at night.  Nothing works.  The pain seems to increase each day and it’s been SO BAD lately.  Especially last night and today.  Never ever take your hands for granted!

My baby bump is really big and it’s definitely making it harder to get around.  I remember struggling to walk with Milan in the third trimester but I definitely didn’t have any other pain or symptoms so it made it slightly easier.

I had my 35 week check up today and everything looks great.  Baby girl is strong and moving a lot.  So regardless of how exhausted I am and no matter how much pain I’m in, I’m trying to stay positive and grateful.

I’m 90% done with the nursery and I’m so excited to show you guys!  I’ve worked so hard putting it together and it’s everything I’ve dreamed of.  I’m waiting on a couple of things for the walls and once that’s complete, I will do the reveal.  Hope you’re doing well and I can’t wait to meet baby girl! XO

  1. Oh man, I remember how horrible my carpal tunnel was when I was pregnant. The wrist supports helped a little, acupuncture did not. Hang in there!!

    • Thank you Silvia! I’ve tried every type of wrist support and none of them work for me 🙁 Acupuncture isn’t working for me either and I’ve done it several times. Hoping I get some relief soon…

  2. It is so nice to see you happy and smiling again. You look glowing happiness all over we are all happy for you and Milan and your new family.

  3. I had the same pain in my wrists when I was pregnant. I couldn’t even dry my hair with a brush! However, the good news is that it goes away as soon as the baby is born. The cause is water retention on nerves or something like that, so hang in there… it will be over soon! xoxo

  4. I had carpal tunnel also, so hard and painful. The wrist supports did help. Happy to hear your update on your wait for baby girl #2. All best wishes for you, Milan and family, as you get ready to welcome her.

  5. Order a set of miracle balls and try rolling the shoulders I was ready to have surgery for my hand when I started using these with good results. I
