What to pack in your hospital bag can be so overwhelming. There’s so much to think about. I was completely unorganized for Milan’s birth and had no clue what to bring and ended up forgetting everything. I definitely don’t want to go through that again so I’m putting together a list of what to pack for mamas, baby and dads.

Robe | Slippers | Blythe Crib | Nook mattress | Delsey Luggage | c/o Pink Lily monogram weekend bag
I’m loving this Pink Lily boutique monogram weekend bag. It’s the perfect size and very roomy. I’ll use to pack all of baby girl’s items so it’ll be easily accessible. I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch of items. If you have any suggestions, please leave the below! 🙂
Bath towel for showering. You don’t want to use the hospital version. Also make up remover face wipes- it may be hard or get up and wash your face in the beginning. I also brought a gift for the baby to give my older daughter when she came to visit the hospital. Last I found that nightgowns were the best option especially after a c-section. Pants were too much work and hurt my incision.
THANK YOU! Great suggestions!!!
I wished I would have brought my own cozy blanket for 2 days I spent on the hospital as well as extra outfits for myself. Just as we were leaving the hospital my bladder control was not under control and I peed all over the floor of my room.. i can laugh about it now but at the time I cried hysterically.
Best wishes on a safe delivery!!
Can’t wait too see your baby girl
I hear you mama! I heard that after the 2nd baby, peeing yourself is just a normal thing. Poor us! Lol
I would bring for you a maxi dress that is comfortable. I had a C section in July and I had to send my husband home the day we left the hospital because the outfit I brought to wear home was 1. Too hot for July (I also live in So Cal) 2. Hurt trying to put them on over my incision.
Good luck! Have a safe and wonderful delivery!
P.S. July babies are the best! My little one will be 8 on July 16th and she is the best thing ever!!!!
Thank you! I just packed a black maxi dress as a back up 🙂
