Happy Valentine’s Day! This is Meadow Ivy’s first Valentine’s Day so I wanted to make it extra special.
I’ve never really been into Valentine’s Day until I met Mr. Right. I always thought it was such a commercial holiday and never got excited about it. Now I have so many reasons to celebrate!
I don’t know why but balloons make me happy. They’re so much fun! It must be the kid in me…haha. I always found it to be such a hassle going to the store to get them and finding a way to shove them in your car/trunk w/out the balloons popping.
I recently found out that Party City delivers! The caveat is that your zip code has to qualify. Meaning there has to be a Party City close enough for them service your area. Luckily ours did qualify and I was able to get all these heart balloons delivered. You can get free delivery for orders over $35. It’s not as expensive as I thought it would be. I got 10 heart balloons for $15 inflated w/helium! I ordered 30 balloons plus balloon weights and grouped them into three clusters. You can also tell them how you want it arranged (height, colors etc.). Not bad for not having to even leave your house right? It’s a simple and great way to decorate for a special occasion w/out having to do the work.
I know it seems silly to do all this for Valentine’s Day but look how happy Milan was! I got each of the girl’s their own little basket of goodies. We had a super fun and relaxing day. I’ve dreamt of having two daughters to play dress up with and do silly/fun things together. It’s truly unbelievable that I get to have this life.
On another note, we apparently adopted Peppa Pig today. Milan got it as one of her gifts and she immediately said that Peppa is her now her daughter. LOL. This girl kills me with the things she comes up with.
Milan certainly keeps me on my toes with her moods. LOL
As exhausting and difficult mom life can be, I look at these photos and my two babies and think to myself….WOW. Look at where we are. We are so blessed. Happy. Healthy. Our home is filled with love and laughter. How lucky am I? 🙂

The pictures of the beautiful mom and her two beautiful daughters in matching outfits are nothing less than amazing. I enjoyed looking at the different photographs so much. I think there is nothing cuter than a mom and her daughter(s) dressing alike.
Is Milan’s outfit itchy? My daughter would love it for Easter but if it is even the slightest bit itchy she won’t even consider it! Thanks!
