The Resort at Pelican Hill is hands down my favorite resort if you are ever visiting Southern California.  It truly is a beautiful resort!  We didn’t get to do anything special last year for our anniversary due to Covid (plus I was also 8 months pregnant).  I was thrilled that we were able to go somewhere this year to celebrate.  It was nice to be able to get away even for a few days.  It does wonders for your mind and soul.

From the Italian inspired landscape and panoramic ocean views, everywhere you look is breathtaking.  We stayed in an ocean view bungalow and it was amazing.  It doesn’t even feel like a hotel which is why I love it.  It feels like home away from home.  The Coliseum pool is the most beautiful pool I’ve ever seen.  It’s perfectly round and 136 feet in diameter!  It’s huge.  We went during the week and it was less crowded and much more private.  We had perfect weather every single day.

I’m all about service when I travel (even if it’s a staycation) and The Resort at Pelican Hill does not disappoint.  They just got a new mobile app that you can basically request anything from housekeeping to in-room dining.  So easy and way better than having to call.  Due to the pandemic, one of my favorite restaurants Andrea is closed.  Hope they open it back up soon because I love the ambiance.  Luckily you can still eat at the Coliseum Pool & Grill.  They have delicious food and you cannot beat the views.  If you are a golfer, they have two 18 hole Tom Fazio designed courses with jaw dropping ocean views.

Love the scenery, vibe and service.  Now it’s even more special that Mr. Right and I got engaged here!  This resort will always a hold a special place in my heart.  I cannot wait to go back!
