I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and my baby girl is growing rapidly! My bump is getting so big and styling it has become quite a challenge. I’m finding that dresses, cardigans and tights are the only things that are comfortable at this point. I’m one week away from my third trimester with only three more months to go until she arrives…where has the time gone?
I wanted to review this Ann Taylor jersey open cardigan for those of you who need a draped cardigan. This one comes in four colors and I’m really loving it. I’ve already worn in a couple of times and it’s very comfortable. I opted to get the XXS regular so the back would cover my rump when worn with leggings. The material is very light weight and it drapes nicely.
I wore this CeCe by Cynthia Steffe cotton blend a-line sweater dress in our baby gender reveal video HERE and received a lot of questions about it so here are my thoughts on it. I bought this awhile back and normally would go for the petite sizing but I wanted to be able to wear this throughout my pregnancy so I went with XS regular for the longer length. The difference in length between the regular and petite sizes is about 1.5″. The larger my bump gets, the shorter tops and dresses become so I need all the extra length I can get at this point. FYI – I have the dress hiked up a little bit to show off the lace detail on my tunic so it’s not as short as it appears.
Now on to these Steve Madden Orabela knee high boots. These are not knee high like it says online but more over the knee boots (at least on petites). The shaft measures 20″ and the circumference is 16″. I like where the shaft hits my thigh as it’s not too high up. These will look great with leggings and jeans.
I was really excited to see they were “made in Italy” but the pair I got was “made in India”. I felt a little duped when I saw that but I’m slowly getting over it. 🙂 The color is not as orange as they appear online. It says that sizing runs small but I didn’t find this to be the case as they feel true to size. There are back and side zippers but the back zipper is decorative only and not functional. These seem pretty comfortable and have a chunky 2.5″ heel. I think for the price, they are good quality and would recommend them ( and hope yours are made in Italy)!
It seems like when Fall and Winter arrive, I like to start to transitioning into richer, darker hues. Maybe that why I’m loving this Henri Bendel debutante convertible clutch so much. I’ve been on a burgundy/berry color kick lately. It’s the perfect size (7″H X 11″W X 0.5″D) and also comes with a removable shoulder chain strap (21″ drop).

I’m so thrilled to finally get some cooler weather and see some leaves on the ground. I never thought I would say this but I miss having four seasons like I did back in the Midwest. It must be my pregnancy hormones talking. lol Thanks so much for reading and stopping by. 🙂
