20 week bump update

This photo was taken last week when I was 19 weeks but wanted to document how I’m feeling…

I’m officially 20 weeks now!  I can’t believe I’m already half way there.  It’s still surreal to me.  We recently had our second trimester ultrasound and found out the gender.  OMG SO EXCITING!  I’m still working on a cute photo for the gender reveal so bear with me (lol).  Most importantly, our baby is healthy and on track so we couldn’t be more thrilled.  I’ve been feeling pretty good overall.  Mr. Right has been taking such good care of me.  Massaging me every night and making sure I am well fed.  Certainly a very different experience than my last pregnancy to say the least.

I finally started a pre-natal yoga class and hoping it will help me de-stress and sleep better.  Plus it’s nice being around other pregnant women that are going through similar things.  My skin has been super dry and itchy which I don’t remember going through with Milan.  I don’t know if it’s the change in weather or whatnot but it’s not fun.  I haven’t had any crazy cravings which I was kind of looking forward to. LOL

I can’t wait to tell you what we are having.  Milan is so excited!

  1. You are glowing and so glad that you are doing great! Love your two piece workout set and I can feel you on the dry, itchy skin. I am not preggo and it’s driving me crazy. I can’t wait to hear more about baby! Happy Tuesday!

  2. Congrats! So exciting to follow your journey! I’m 19 weeks currently and my skin started itching a lot too! Not sure if it’s the drier weather lately? Can’t wait for your gender reveal!

    • Aw congrats to you! I’m thinking it’s from using the heat and the dry weather…so frustrating! I didn’t have this with Milan and my nipples are super dry too (TMI?) lol

      • Not TMI, because me too! I thought it was just me because I asked some of my friends who were pregnant before and none of them had that issue. Burt’s Bee Mama Bee Belly Butter helps with the area around the itchy nipples even though it said for belly. And congrats on your baby girl! Milan is going to be a great older sister!

  3. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Thrilled for you, Mr. Right, Milan and the new little one. I wish all of you a long, happy, healthy life together!!!

  4. Annie,

Itching in pregnancy can be a sign of intrahepatic cholestasis. Check with your doctor’s office and run it by them. You look wonderful! Best wishes.

  5. Just found this article and as a petite mommy to be! I am with you and haven’t had any crazy cravings and felt so weird saying that when people ask! Love to see it’s normal!
