I’m sure you have heard about the debate on skinny jeans and side parts. Well here are my thoughts…
The whole thing is ridiculous! As far as side parts being “out”, I say it doesn’t matter. My hair naturally parts on the side and that is that. There are occasions where it’s been parted down the middle like in this post but for the most part, it does whatever it wants. However after seeing that post, I’m loving the middle part so I may try it again. Haha
My hair is a hot mess especially after having kids so I just let it do what it wants to do. LOL Postpartum hair loss is no joke! Whether you part your hair on the side, middle or whatever, YOU DO YOU. Who cares about what some generation says.
As far as skinny jeans being “out” is just another ridiculous topic. I will always love skinny jeans because I feel good in them. I feel they are flattering on my petite frame. Whether they are in or out, I will continue to wear what makes me feel confident. I encourage you to do the same regardless of the current trends.
Apparently straight jeans are all the rage right now and I support SOME pairs. Being petite, there are some denim cuts that just don’t flatter our petite frames. What may look great on someone taller may look ridiculous on someone my height. These Abercrombie high waist straight jeans are approved. Super flattering and comfortable. The high waist helps elongate your legs. Straight or wide leg pants/denim sometimes can make you appear much shorter. These hit right at the ankle and fit nicely. Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing size 25 short.
On another note, I’m loving the woven braided sandals trend. These Vince Camuto Semtera woven strap sandals are so cute! I also got this pair which I’ve been wearing non-stop with everything. Also, this Amazon bodysuit is so comfortable and nursing friendly. I have it white too. Last but not least, this striped sweater is so soft and perfect for chilly days or evenings. I can see it paired with some cut off denim shorts and sandals for Summer.
