Dress: Marshalls {brand is Eight Sixty, $39.99} – size small (exact dupe HERE, thanks to Jennifer N. on Facebook for pointing this out or in fuchsia HERE)
Yet another score from Marshalls! This dress is from a brand called Eight Sixty (see very old review here). I’ve seen it at Nordstrom’s and other department stores. They seem to be petite friendly. The size small fits decent (waist area is loose) but doable although I would prefer an XS (buy exact dress here or in fuchsia).
I have to be in the mood to shop at places like Marshalls and TJMaxx. You have to rummage through the racks and be very patient. I saw this navy/striped textured dress peering out in the women’s dress department and was elated when it was a size small. The material is thick and fully lined (except the sleeves). The only downside to this dress is it doesn’t have pockets and the low cut scoop back.
I was a bit hesitant when purchasing this Kate Spade colorblock purse because I wasn’t sure if I could pair it with a variety of things. So far, it’s proven to work well with my wardrobe. I love the pebbled leather and the quality is really nice. The size is perfect for someone my size and comes with an adjustable longer strap. Plus, the inside is lined in polka dots!
I’ve sure gotten my money’s worth out of this cognac bow belt I took from a cheap TJMaxx dress earlier this Summer. I’m sure everyone is sick of seeing it but it seems to go with everything.
To combat the low scoop back, I wore a blazer over it for work. I like the look of the dress with and without a blazer. It’s super comfortable too which is always an added bonus!
I like the combination of white, navy blue, and this lime green. The blazer adds a touch of class to this otherwise cute outfit (of course, classy can still be cute!). Nice pumps to complete the look. Very fun style here!

Very pretty dress, Annie! I really like the texture. The blazer + belt really brings the outfit together. =)

Your green handbag looks lovely with your nautical inspired outfit. I’ve seen a lot of striped outfits on you lately. Are you going through a stripe phase?

So jealous of all your finds at Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I don’t have the patience to look through the racks so unless it’s hanging in plain sight I tend to miss out on a good steal. This dress is very pretty with your new KS bag. I love the texture of it in addition to the mini scallops. I have to say the fuchsia version looks so different in one solid color and I thought it was another dress altogether. I prefer wearing a dress without the blazer only because summer is so hot and I can’t imagine commuting on the train while sweating my butt off.
Thanks Jess. I usually am rushed in Marshalls but the times I can dig – I get lucky π
