Weekend Sales and Back In Stock Favorites

Happy first day of Fall!  Nordstrom is having triple points for cardmembers from 9/20-9/24.  This is a great time to shop for the holidays and rack up points to earn your notes (shopping money).  A newer version of my favorite pair of step hem jeans is now back in stock for only $65!  Get 40% off everything at Loft – no code needed and stackable with code: INSIDER475 (excludes Lou & Grey) for $25 off full price orders of $100+.  I ordered these sweatpants to try and loving this modern olive peacoat for fall.  Ann Taylor is also having 40% off everything (use code: FALLFORITALL).  I really love these bow pumps and if they’re anything like previous seasons, they should be very comfortable.  Get up to 70% off at J.Crew – lots of mark downs and worth checking out.  My olive ruffle cami is on sale!

I wanted to share this outfit again because both the top and skirt are on sale for under $40!  This is a great deal and hands down one of my favorite outfits from last year (see full post HERE).  Sizing is a bit tricky since there’s only one size for the skirt.  The material has a lot of stretch and based on measurements provided online, it should fit waist sizes 24-29.  The top runs on the smaller side and has some stretch.  The sleeve length fits me perfectly which means if you’re taller or have longer arms, it might be 3/4″ sleeves on you.  Love and would highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a simple pair of gray jeans with no distressing, these Lou & Grey ones are really nice.  I love everything Lou & Grey!  They are currently 40% off!  Sizing runs very small and size 24 is a bit tight in the waist for me.  The inseam is 26.5″ which is slightly long to wear with ankle booties so I cuff them up once.  I like the fit through the thighs and legs and it’s one of the better gray jeans I’ve found.  Would recommend!

I came across this plaid cardigan in my closet recently and was reminded of how much I love it!  I was happy to see they have fully restocked it!  Sizing runs small and there’s only one size.  I know, scary when items are one size fits all!  If you’re similar in size to me then it should fit fine.  It should also fit gals that are a few sizes larger too but please make sure to check the online measurements to be safe!

P.S – I ordered these leather riding boots and should be getting them next week! Fingers crossed they’re petite friendly!  I’ll review them ASAP since I know so many ladies are in need of boots. 🙂 XO

  1. Hi there: Thanks so much for all your great suggestions! You’ve saved me a lot of time (and money) searching for things that will fit. I wanted to ask about the plaid cardigan in this post. I ordered it for myself, and had the same problem that some other reviewers had: The shoulders don’t seem to be in the right place and so the sweater keeps sliding off. Did you need to have it altered or pinned in place? (I couldn’t even get it to stay up when it was arranged perfectly and I was standing still!) Can you recommend another cotton plaid cardigan in a similar color combination?
