In an effort to re-mix my closet more, I’ve been trying to buy less and wear my old clothes more. It sounds easy but it’s seriously a struggle for someone who loves to shop.
The entire outfit is made of pieces that I absolutely love. The pink trench coat is one of my favorite items I own (last seen HERE). The closet dupe I could find is THIS ONE which looks pretty promising.
If you’ve been reading my blog for many years, you know pants are not my friend (lol). These Banana Republic sloan ankle pants are one of the few pairs that I wear often and love. See old review HERE. They fit like a glove and the length is on point. No alterations needed. Sizing runs true to size and I’m wearing 00 petite. They can be worn dressed up for work or casually on the weekends. The most versatile pair of pants EVER. If navy isn’t your thing, they also come in 3 other colors. See it last styled HERE.
If you don’t have a gingham shirt, you need one in your life. It’s my go-to shirt for every occasion – preppy, casual or professional – it’s a must have. The one I’m wearing is very old (many many years ago) from Banana Republic however I also have THIS ONE which is a great alternative and it’s on sale!
This is the type of outfit you can easily re-create using items you probably already have in your closet. Swap out the pink trench for a classic color like THIS ONE and the pink purse for a camel tote and voila, another outfit option!
