Skinny Jeans Tucked In Slouchy Brown Suede Boots

In the spirit of Fall, I busted out my slouchy brown suede boots from Nordstrom’s. Being petite, finding boots falls under the same category as my journey for pants or petite denim- almost near impossible. I have managed to find a few pair of leather and suede boots that the shaft height doesn’t overwhelm my short legs and also the calf area is not so wide that there is a huge gap.

Top: Forever 21 Lace Top– size small (sold HERE)
Cami: Forever 21 Taupe Cami– size XS (sold HERE)
Jeans: H & M Young Girls- size 11/12
Boots: B.P Chocolate Brown Suede Boots- size 5 (similar HERE and HERE)
Necklace: Twisted multi-taupe pearls (similar HERE)

I love suede boots but if you live in a state that has snow- then suede is definitely not the best option- I would stick to leather. I have no idea why boots are so hard to find. It’s either the shaft height goes above my knee or the circumference is extremely large.

B.P. (Junior Brand of Nordstrom’s) boots usually fit really nicely. I also discovered Vaneli leather boots last Winter. The calves run extra small and the shaft height is not too tall. These shoe companies really need to make petite specific boots with shorter shaft heights and smaller calves!
I am always on the hunt for the perfect boot- whether leather or suede- I love wearing boots with my skirt suits or sweater dresses in the winter. Does anyone else have problems finding boots that fit properly for petites? And does anyone know of any other brand of boots that work?
On another note, please come by and check out my blog sale- HERE. I added some new items yesterday and shipping out my first item today so I adjusted the shipping prices on everything to save everyone some money:)

  1. I love boots but I haven't found HG ones yet. If I tuck pants into them, they're too loose to wear by itself. So it feels like I have to get two sets so I don't stretch them out.

Those slouchy suede boots look awesome on you! =)

  2. Replying your comment:
The jeans I'm wearing here do run small! Cheap Monday are known to make tight jeans. I'm normally a size 23, but I had to size up. If you purchase a pair, I recommend sizing up 1 or 2 sizes. I'm wearing a 25 in my post and it leaves a bit of a gap. A 24 would've probably been perfect for me. : )

  3. cute boots! i love tucking boots in jeans or wearing them with dresses. it's a great way to keep warm here in the city.

thanks for your super sweet comment…you are the one with the amazing body — super skinny with curves!

  4. I do like your boots. I have never tried on shoes from BP Nordstrom. Are they comfortable? I might have to check them out. I don't have problems finding shoes/boots in general. I am petite with average-size feet 🙂

  5. I'm no help with boots, because the only ones I own are Uggs (I know, the horror! But they are so comfortable I don't care :P) and rain boots. Yours fit great though and I love the suede! Do you pre-treat any of your suede items in case you get caught in the rain/snow?

  6. Thanks ladies!!!!

@TheLittleDustPrincess- thanks for letting me know! I will check them out!

@PLG- I love BP shoes especially their boots. They are ultra comfortable with a 3" heel so it's perfect height for work. You should def check them out!!!

@Cee- I don't pretreat my suede items because there is no snow where i live and if I know its going to rain- I will throw on m leather ones 🙂

  7. AWW, cute outfit! I like how you played with the light baby pink and the suede boots. =0D I usually stay away from suede like a plague until Sydney made a blog post on how to take care of them! You should check her post out!

  8. @April- AWE!!!!!! You did??? OMG you are just the sweetest!!! I so appreciate your support- it means the world to me! Thank you sooo much!! I am going to watch it now!!!!! hehehe

  9. Oh, man. You don't know how long I've been crying about the lack of petite-friendly boots out there haha. I personally don't have super skinny calves but it's the height of the boot that's a problem. Case in point – I decided last fall that I *had* to have over-the-knee boots however, translated on a petite, they became under-the-crotch boots 🙁

  10. Hey I dunno if you'd ever consider custom jeans, but indiDenim allows you to input your measurements like custom inseams…and they're about the same price as citizens or 7s…but anyway cute outfit, the boots look awesome.

  11. i guess it's that time of year again where we pull out our boots and start wearing layers. Cant say Im too enthusiastic about the temperature change but i do love Fall fashion. love this look hun. and yes i do find it hard to find boots that fit as well. mostly at the calf area.
