Everyone knows how difficult it is for me to find jeans right? So I was super excited to have the opportunity to try on some of Allizon Izu’s premium denim in several different styles and sizes. Allison Izu specializes in denim jeans for women 5’6″ and under. She offers sizes from 000(triple zero)-10 with 31″ and 27″ inseams available. All her jeans are designed in Hawaii but manufactured in California. The jeans are made out of high quality Italian denim. You may have seen reviews by several other petites like PetiteLittleGirl, ExtraPetite, AlterationsNeeded, ShortyStories and AprilAthena7. They all did a great job!

This is my favorite fit out of all the jeans I tried on. (click on any image to enlarge)
Pros: No waist gap! Unbelievable! Everything fit perfectly- the waist, butt, hips, and legs. It wasn’t so tight that I couldn’t breathe but just tight enough.
Cons: Inseam was too long. I definitely need a 27″ in these.

Do you see the bunching near the zipper/crotch area? It’s much more visible on the 00 vs. the 000.
It was hard to capture on camera but there was a slight difference between the 000 and the 00. There was a tiny waist gap which is do-able but I much preferred the waist on the 000. The 27″ inseam seems to work nicely with pumps and can be also worn with flats.
Waist Laying flat = 12.5″
The 1/2″ makes a big difference!

Pros: Light weight denim so it’s very soft and flexible.
Cons: The 00 is way too big on me. I would need a 000 in this style. The inseam is too long. I think the color needs to be a bit more darker blue.

If this was a 000 in a 27″ inseam, I think it would fit really nicely. Can you tell which is the longer length?

Pros: The waist fits exactly like the 000 Hotel Street skinny jeans. No waist gap! I love the color of this one and the design. I love the “butt” fit on this pair!
Cons: The inseam was way too short on me. It would be perfect if it were a 28-29″ inseam. So I would opt for a 31″ inseam in this style.
Waist laying flat = 12″ (perfect size)
Pros: I love the front pockets and back pockets and how discreet they are. And the front inseam is super cute. This denim is much heavier than all the ones I tried on and it felt really high quality.
Cons: The waist gap was gignatic on this one. And the wide leg effect was not for me. I definitely need a 000 in this style and a 27″ inseam.

Pros: The waist fits nicely. I love the side pockets and simple design. Most jean skirts are too short and teeny bopper. This is actually an adult jean skirt! Love the dark rinse color.
Cons: The length is a bit too long for my taste. I would prefer it taken up by 1.5-2″. The hips and bottom portion are too big on me.
Waist laying flat = 12.5″
So to sum it up, I really like the fact that she offers 000 because I know there are times when I wish there was something smaller than a 00. And the range of sizes 000-10 gives petites a variety of sizes to choose from because not all petites are made the same:) I love the fact that she uses high quality premium Italian denim. I am all about quality! It’s fantastic that she specializes in only petite women 5′ 6″ or shorter- it makes us petites feel important!! The only Con’s I have is the inconsistency in sizing. As you can see above, not all the 00’s are alike. Last but not least is the inseam choices. There are currently 2 inseams that are available, I hope and pray she will come out with 28, 29 and 30″ inseams for women like me who are right inbetween. There were some styles that I can get away with the 27″ inseam but I much prefer at least a 28″. If it’s a skinny jean like the Hotel Street and Kolohe Welt, the 27″ is perfect!

omg you have the tiniest waist. i have never heard of a 000 — is that equivalent to a 22" waist? i definitely like the first pair on you, they seem to fit the best. i wished she has an inseam between 27" & 31"

Oh my god, there is no way I can fit in 000. I don't even realize that size exists! You have such a tiny waist. The first pair and the pencil skirt look very nice on you (despite the waist gap on the jeans). You are soo gorgeous and I really enjoy your video.

Thanks for the extensive review – I won a pair of the paniolo from jean's contest and love them. I think the 31 inseam would look better since you have proportionally long legs and the 27 seems like a cropped fit on you. Jeans look terrific on you, you should wear them more often. 🙂

I remember these reviews from other petite bloggers! I like how you got sent different items; I've always wondered what the other styles looked. They are still a little bit too pricy for me but I like that she has some great sales. I wonder how these jeans will hold up in a wash? Since they are premium denim it should hold up very well, right?

the false lashes i wore was actually from the 99 cents stor lol. I re-use them over and over and they're still in good shape. I just clean them with a makeup remover and they're good to use again!
