My Favorite suit for work is my Theory “Gratian” Lecture Tweed skirt suit that I went through a lot earlier this year to find. Read my post here. I was sick to my stomach because I wasn’t able to hunt down the 00 in that suit so when I came across the black version at the outlet this past weekend, I jumped at the chance to get the entire matching suit in 00. Before we get to that, here are some other things I scored on:

I just got! It’s amazing! I am still learning and it’s much different than a point and shoot BUT this photo was un-touched! It was snowing today in CA and so the lighting was really dark and poor but my camera was able to capture this! No photos of me until I get my remote which should be arriving this week!

I also scored a lizard brown skinny belt in XS for 50% off at AT outlet. And can I just vent for second? I asked the SA at Ann Taylor to just ring up the price on this cardi since the tag still said $39.99 and she rudely said, “Uh..I personally scanned and inventoried the entire store yesterday- it’s still $39.99.” And she was NOT going to check for me! She rolled her eyes slightly as if I dared to ask her to actually do her job and double check the price! So I asked as politely as possibly while thinking really bad thoughts- “Can you please just ring it up because I think it may be $9.88.” She scoffed at me and rudely takes the cardi to ring it up. Low and behold, it rang up for $9.88! If I had more time, I probably would have said a few words but I was in a super big rush. So lesson here: ALWAYS have the SA scan the item to check the price because it’s happened to me so many times where the price tag says one thing and then it rings up much cheaper!
Here is my new lovely find: Theory “Gratian” Chateau Blazer in 00. Was $395, on sale for $197.50 plus 15% off = $167.87
Yes it is expensive but totally worth it because the fit is so perfect. All I have to tailor is the sleeves and it’s perfect! My Theory Tweed Blazer in a 0 is slightly too big and the skirt in 0 is way too wide. I knew if I was to pass on this entire suit, that I would forever regret it and have to spend months hunting it down.

Not bad at ALL for a 00 Theory skirt that only needs the hem to be taken up! OMG I am sooooo excited. I don’t have a black skirt suit that I love and that fits perfectly so this is a great investment for me. I know I will get so much use for many years!

Ugh about the sa at Ann Taylor! My one and only Ann Taylor experience in Vegas was NOT good! I rarely send complaint emails, and this caused me to. No one greeted me or offered assistance. There were two or more women working, and only one other customer. I even had a conversation with my husband within earshot of a sa about how I was trying to find my sister a sweater! Still nothing! Grr! Ok, now my vent is over. :p
Love the snow pics! It snowed in Vegas this week, too! It did not stick for too long, though. Just enough to get my students all hyped up in the morning. Hehe!
