Jean has once enabled us again with her Target post here. I am neutral on this lace cardigan. The fit is super petite friendly but I just can’t put my finger on it. So the price is great but not sure if I love it even for the great price.
Here I tried tucking it in my winter white Theory skirt in 00 (pre-alterations). Keep this lace cardi or return?
Looks decent right? Well it’s because I have the sleeves scunched up and it looks okay with it styled like this, but tucked in is terrible! Very bulky and I couldn’t even take a picture- it was that bad.
Here is the cardigan in it’s true form. Super big and bulky all the way around. I do LOVE the peach color for Spring and Summer.
Here is the boyfriend cardigan in forest green– size XS
Again, it looks decent buttoned up and possibly worn with a skirt but it’s just not right. It’s not nearly as fitted as the LOFT long cardigan I love.
Here is the blue and gray one in XS. When I first tried on the gray one, I thought it was a mistake and they had sent me the women’s instead of the junior’s but it’s junior’s!
Xhilaration Tawny Wedge Sandals in brown- size 5.5
I normally wear a size 5 but needed extra stuff to add to my cart to get the additonal 20% off my order but these are definitely going back. It’s hard to tell but they are too big for me, when I walk, my whole ankle is loose and my feet slide up and down the sandal. Plus these are a bit hard core/bulky for me, not my style. Cute but just not for me.
My other portion of my order hasn’t come but I am hoping this version of the boyfriend cardigan with rolled tab sleeves (so cute) will work out much better. I got in XS berry and aqua color. Also comes in white and black too! Since I push my sleeves up anyway- this is a GREAT style for me. I know for a fact that the Dolce Vita nude wedge sandals will be going back as well once I get it. This target haul- not so great:(

I went to Target and saw those cardigans and they didn't look great in person and they looked big. I was wondering why everyone was saying they were petite friendly. You're definitely tiny and the cardis don't fit.
i love the lace one personally, almost bought it for myself a couple times, and i think the sandals look great on you! but if you dont like them there's not point in keeping them right? ill keep my fingers crossed for your other items to fit! 😛

I saw those lace cardigans a while back on clearance and though they looked kind of nice on the rack, there was something in them that I didn't like once I tried them on. But I couldn't quite figure out what it was. I looked at all the different colors and it just wasn't working for me. I thought the monochromatic look you pulled was nice, though. Sorry for your Target haul. 🙂 The colors of the other cardigans are nice, however.

I actually really like the lace cardigan and would like to see it in person. I think it looks nice with the jeans for a casual day at work. Can you wear jeans on Fridays? I don't love it with the skirt though for some reason, maybe because of the white underneath and you did the tone on tone thing with the jeans…

I really like how you styled the lace cardi tucked in. Not really a fan of the casual version though — maybe a different colored cami would work better, or try it unbuttoned? I say return the Mossimo boyfriend cardis since you don't love them. Thanks for the reviews. I really have to check out Target soon!
the cardigans look ok styled over the skirt but i have to admit that the cardigans look too bulky. i think the fact that they cannot be tucked into skirts would be a deal-breaker for me as that would greatly limit how the cardi can be worn.
as for the lace cardi, i think it looks ok paired over jeans, but i think something is a bit off when tucked in.
overall, i think the target haul is ok, but you can do better. 🙂

I do like the lace cardigan. Although, I would have a hard time styling it properly. The boyfriend cardigans are way too big on you. I've seen them in person and wasn't impressed at all. I was suprised when I saw your tweet ealier. I really like the peach and baby blue color for spring but too bad about the fit.
I like the lace cardigan with the skirt. I also think you should keep the peach cardigan but return the others – it's a nice color on you and will likely get more use than you think – maybe with thick leggings and a longer tee underneath?
I like the lace cardigan as well! I think it fits you nicely in the hip area. The Mo cardigans are really bulky looking, eh not liking it as much. Thanks for all the coupons and links, looks like I will be having fun over this Preisdent's Day weekend.
I would have jumped on the bandwagon with the lace cardigan, but I think it's really odd that it's a lace bf cardigan with pockets! and it doesn't even seem like the pockets are flat. that's just too much going on for me.

I think everything should go back. If it doesn't fit and you don't love it…don't keep it. Although, the color of the peach cardigan looks very flattering to your complexion.

I actually disagree with what most commenters are saying about the lace cardi. I LOVE it and love both of the ways you styled it, especially with the white tank and tucked into a skirt. If it were the black one, I can see it borderlining "lingerie-esque" and thus being "tacky." But because it's nude colored, I happen to think it's a very unique and edgy piece. I think it would also look really great layered underneath various blazers and other cardigans. The fact that it isn't up the alley of most women makes me love it even more. I was actually going to pass on this Target sale but your post convinced me to actually get the lace cardi to try for myself. Crossing my fingers that I love the cardi on me as much as I love it on you!
It sucks that the cardigans aren't working out for you! They are such gorgeous colors! I agree with you, I wish LOFT would bring back those same cardis in spring colors…we would both be all over them lol!

I love the lace cardi on you. I have the black one and I do admit it's kind of hard to style but I layered it over a printed blouse and I liked the effect of that.
