Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve done a post with pants/jeans! I have gotten a lot of emails and requests to do more “casual” outfit posts so here it is! Honestly, I feel really awkward in casual clothes. I have to seriously try really hard to put something together. I usually feel “not put together” for some reason. I’m trying my best to go outside of my comfort zone and play with different looks and colors lately.
I’m trying to re-wear older things in my closet but why do I feel it’s not as fun as putting on something new?:) Does anyone else feel like that? I am supposed to get my JBrand jeans from Hautelook today so I am pretty excited! Hope they work out!

I'm like you and have a hard time with being too casual. I'd be perfectly comfortable in what you have on here. I really like this casual look.

When I first saw the pics.. I was like 'Jeans'!
I am normally in Jeans n Tees n when I wear skirts n blazers I feel really dressed up. Alays thought wearing old clothes is no fun and envied the celebs who has something new to wear every time! but now I love 'Kendi everydays' remixing and shopping your own closet idea and believe me, it works like a charm!

I was just thinking "whoa she's in jeans today!" 😛 It's really hard isn't to switch. In the colder months I'm such a jeans girl but all summer I've been in skirts and dresses – I wore jeans today because it was so cold for me this morning!

i'm loving the golden glow in these pictures and you look stunning!! the pink color of this top is so pretty and i like the added elegance of the pearl accessories.
and i feel the same way about styling older clothes sometimes unless i challenge myself to wear it in a new/different way that pushes me outside of my comfort zone. then i feel like i'm growing creatively. 🙂

During the warm months I am most comfortable in summer dresses and shorts/tanks. Last winter I was all about my jeggings with boots! 🙂
