Pros: I don’t have any dark brown (marigold) pencil skirts and the color is great for Fall. The price was only $49 after discounts…not sure if it’s worth alterations.

Leopard print haircalf perfect pumps – size 5
Pros: These run a tiny bit smaller than the other AT pumps which is great news for someone with a 4.5 or a small size 5 foot. It matches my leopard haircalf belt which I have never regretted buying matching Ann Taylor belts and pumps:) The price was great after all coupons.
Cons: I’m not 100% sold on this calf hair and hope there won’t be spots that will bald in the future.

Pros: The color is quite unique- it’s called moosewood. It’s a cross between a dark plum and brown. The fit and length is perfect and works even when tucked in. See it on Ping in green.
Cons: Love the fit but unfortuately still a bit too spendy for me at $45 and I have a gazillion cardigans.

Hi Annie! I don't know what it is about AT tropical wool pencil skirts, but I have the same problem! The length was definitely too long and the waist and hip area was a little baggy. Plus, the odd pleat in the back. My grandmother altered mine, but I'm not sure if it's worth paying to alter it when you could buy a better fitting one off the rack somewhere else. 🙂 Also, I love both the cardigans… they colors are absolutely perfect for Fall! Keep both!!

Hi I love your blog! I just wanted to address your calf hair concern. I have had a pair of leopard calf hair shoes from Nordstrom's for about three years now and there are no bald spots. So, don't worry!
I love your blog, but I have to ask, what's the deal with you and Jean from extrapetite.com? Your blogs are almost exactly the same and you both wear the same clothes. Are you two related in some way? Do you follow each other blogs? I really enjoy both of your blogs but I've noticed that they're nearly identical. In one of her posts (seen here: http://www.extrapetite.com/2011/08/ann-taylor-review-petite-crossing-paths.html#more) she wore the blue ruffled top and printed skirt that you're wearing in this post.
