As a blogger, we get approached by many companies that want to send us items in exchange for a mention. I am very particular on which companies and items I will let appear on a post. I want to make sure it’s something I would buy and definitely would wear in real life. I have done a Stella and Dot post/giveaway in the past and since then have been solicited by many Stella and Dot independent stylists. I have turned down all of them except for Naomi. She was so incredibly sweet and when I heard she was a fellow petite, I couldn’t say no. I love helping out fellow petites grow their company/business. She allowed me to pick out several pieces to wear for you guys and this LaCoco gold curbchain necklace is one of my new favorite pieces. It’s reminiscent of my vintage thrifted gold chain but in a longer version. What’s great is that it doubles as a bracelet and you can also wear a brooch with it to change up the style.
Belt: Ann Taylor (buy here)

I got my vintage thrifted skirt back from my mom. I had sent it to her to slim the sides for me. The waist is still a tad bit loose but I didn’t want to make her do any more work than she was already doing (I felt guilty for making her tailor my clothes). She does a better job than my tailor – amazing! After taking these pics, I realized the skirt is still a tad too big all over but it’ll do for now.
On another note, a lovely petite reader has a bunch of tiny clothes for sale – check out her Ebay page🙂
**Disclaimer: Both the necklace and ring were gifted to me from Naomi for Stella Dot.**
i love the two items that you picked out from the Stella and Dot collection! the pop of color from the ring is perfect with this more neutral outfit. the lace shell is beautiful with the camel skirt — i'll have to try out this combo too!
and stunning pictures, Annie! 🙂
cute & little
Love the chain necklaces, especially that they aren't chunky or overwhelming! I've been looking at eBay for ones but it's hard to gauge how big the links are. And by the way, I can't believe your clutch is from F21. Looks like such good quality!
Love the lace top with the gold chains and your photos are so good!
Really like that necklace! Most of the chain necklaces I've come across are too big and chunky for my frame, but this has a really classy look to it.
You're stunning in this outfit, Annie! I wish the weather in Toronto was still like this… The necklace is gorgeous!
Love the lace n camel color combo!
You have such a timeless style. VERY nice.

I am seriously drooling over your mustard clutch! Is it me or are we both crazy over mustard this season 😉 Adoring the lace top and pairing it with the beige skirt is such a great combination. Always looking chic and gorgeous Annie! Thanks for sharing.

Next time I go to Savers- I'll look for one like mine for ya:-) I don't live near one but hopefully I can go again soon!
It's tricky looking on eBay because like u said- u can't really tell how chunky it is….
And the clutch has a Chanel like chain to wear as a crossbody too! Love it!
Awe thanks Elle! My photos are not that great but at least they are better than when I first started blogging:)
Thanks JJ! I was afraid they would be too chunky but was so pleasantly surprised that they were high quality and didn't overwhelm me:-)
Oh Jessy- ur so sweet! Thank u! CA weather is so funky- its hot and then cool- its hard to get into Fall mode when it's 95 degrees….lol
Thank u! I love the nuetralness of this outfit too:-)
Thank u so much! That is so nice of u to say:-)
I think u would rock this chain necklace Michelle! 🙂
Thanks Angie! I wish it was a little more fitted…it's hard to tell by the pics but the waist is about 1" too big and the sides could come in a tiny bit too…and love my mustard bag! 🙂
Lol thanks Thu! You should def get the mustard clutch/crossbody 🙂
So classic and pretty! 🙂

I love how you paired the toughness of the chain with the femininity of the lace shell – a perfect combo with the camel skirt 🙂 You look great as always!
Atlantic-Pacific has me drooling over her chain necklace, but I've yet to come across one that's a statement piece without being too chunky. Love how yours suits your style so well. Great outfit, Annie!
Really like that you paired your lace top with the leopard print belt. It's a fun touch on a classic look. 🙂
GORGEOUS photos. i love love love this outfit. and the necklace…and the clutch! =)
