I wanted to test out my new flats and see how they look when photographed. I feel so weird in them and think I look silly but it sure is a nice break from heels! I can’t wait to wear them for several hours- hope they are as comfortable as I think they are.
Today wasn’t such a good day. Do you want to know why? Well, my camera toppled over while I was taking blog photos. It wasn’t supposed to be windy today but all of a sudden, these huge wind gusts came out of nowhere and blew my entire tri-pod and camera over. I always try to check the weather forecast to make sure it’s not too windy or going to rain (doesn’t happen often in Southern CA) but today- the weather lied to me! My camera and lens is completely shot:(
Even though I am quite traumatized, I hope you have a great weekend.

I love the green skirt on you! The statement necklace is really cute too. I actually like the flats on you – they don't look silly at all. Ballet flats are my favorite because they're so comfortable 🙂
Sorry to hear about your camera though; I hope you'll be able to get a replacement soon so you can continue blogging. The wind has been really strong over here on the East coast too today.

Sorry to hear about the camera! I know a lot of folks suggest putting a UV filter on the lens to protect against accidents like this — something to think about for your replacement if you haven't tried it.

Annie, I can't express how much I love this outfit! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Everything. The stripe, the green, the bauble, the mustard purse (too bad you are selling it, 'cuz it adds so much color in such a simple way). Even with the flats, the outfit stands out. The picture quality seems to be better than usual for some reason, although I didn't think it was possible given how great all your pictures look. Then again, it might be just the color that did the trick. So sorry for you loss. I'd be traumatized too. But look at these pictures. It's impossible for such a beautiful lady to be sad, right? I can't ever take photos outside this time of year due to weather. It's either snowing or we have 60 MPH winds. The joys of the midwest.
