Ever since I saw these on Pinterest, I have been on the hunt for a similar pair. They are a close dupe to the popular Zara and Chanel two tone pumps.
I went to Marshall’s the other day looking for the Franco Sarto dupes but couldn’t find it. However, I did find these in a size 6 – Brand is Bandolino. They were on sale for around $32. You may want to check your local Marshall stores. They have a ton of cute shoes but nothing in my size.
I randomly saw a pair of tiny navy cap toe Tahari flats in the clearance section but the size said 5.5 so I put them down immediately. For some reason, I decided to turn back on my way out and tried them on. Much to my surprise, the size 5.5 fit! They are super comfortable and run small. I ran around the shoe section looking for more pairs because mine were a display and I wanted a fresh pair in the box. Unfortunately it was the last pair (display) but I did find other Tahari flats (red cap toe and snakeskin) in the box. I tried them all on and couldn’t believe how nice they felt on my feet. I have been wanting to let go of my Tory Burch Reva flats because they kill every time I wear them. I desperately need some cute flats for shopping and traveling. The navy/cream (lower right photo) was $32 on sale but the red and snakeskin were only $39.99 in the box. I brought them all home to mull over. It seems like every pair of flats I have ever tried on just don’t fit right. It must be my feet. These felt like heaven for my toes. Please help me decide which to keep. I definitely want to keep the navy/cream but would like a second pair…or do I keep all three?
In my search for some cap toe/two tone pumps, I found and bought these to review for you ladies:
– Tahari Peri Color Pumps (size 5.5 is the smallest size but hoping they run small like my Tahari flats)
– Corso Como quilted cap toe (comes in size 4-13 and on sale)
– Banana Republic Laurel pumps (sizes 5 and 5.5 left)
I debated on getting these only because they come in size 4 and 4.5 (on sale) but the toe is way too pointy for my taste. It’s a great option if you like pointy toe shoes.
If you have sizes 6 and up, here are some amazing pumps that I found:
– Prada color block pump (gorgeous)
Are you a fan of cap toe/two tone shoes?
Congrats on your purchase! I can't wait to see you wear them out.
I live in my Chanel two-tone pumps! I have 3 pairs now. π
Best wishes,

I adore the cap-toe look – for me, they're the perfect ladylike addition to my basic jeans/tee/blazer uniform. I love the snakeskin flats!

Can I ask how much the Chanel pumps are? I would love to get my hands on them if I could find them in my size. Is it from the 2011 winter collection? : )
I have to go back a while on my bank records or see if I discussed them at all on tpf because I do not remember off hand. My last 2-tone buy may have been as far as Winter 2010.
Cute..cute..cute, i definitely like both red and black pairs. I am not so much of a reptile skin/pattern. The two tone pumps are gorgeous and Annie.
This was quicker than I thought, here is my "reveal post" on TPF for pic reference of last 2 pairs.
The full black ones were $675 & 2-tone $872

I love the snakeskin flats – those are the ones I'd keep! π
Thanks! Out of all three, the snakeskin are the most comfortable…eeks! Tough decisions!! π
Love the flats! I'd keep them all (I tend to buy repeats if I really really like them). It seems like the two tone pumps/flats are the style for this Spring…I'm seeing them all over the place! Must…resist…
Honestly, I'm not into the cap-toe thing. Two-tone shoes look best when done right and styled right. Not really liking this to be honest.

I'd say keep all 3 π Its so hard to find shoes that fit and are comfy at the same time!
I don't own any cap toed shoes, but these are really nice and I like how they can match any outfit.
I love them! My Barbie had them when I was a kid. I know, funny but that's why I like them. They always seemed so "gown-up" to me!!
I love the Zara ones and have also found myself in the past months searching for two-tones heels. My preference, however, is for ankle strapped shoes rather than full-on pumps. And about the flats, if you must return one, I think the red is a bit flashy.
I've been trying to find a pair of cap-toe shoes too…but haven't been as successful as you! LOVE the red/white ones that you picked out, those are a DEFINITE keeper.

LOOK ! a DIY cap toe!
I love cap toes, so much fun!
Totally adoring the captoe heels! I really wanted to get the Zara pair but they were sold out of my size at the store. So sad! But I did find an identical pair at old navy – except they are flats, which is good enough for me cause they are the same color. Love those chanel ones tho π Lovely little blog you have here <3
You seem to wear a lot of high heels, so this may affect how flat shoes feel to you. I personally like flat shoes with a bit of a stacked or built-up heel.
I don't know what industry you work in or what your office environment is like, but a lot of your skirts would definitely be too short for the workplace, ESPECIALLY without dark tights. Knee length is the minimum length is most offices in my area, may be a little above the knee if paired with dark tights.
Therefore, low heels or flat shoes are a favorite to wear with shorter skirts in my work environment. People rarely pair above-the-knee skirts with high heels and bare legs in my work environment.
Outside work, that's a different story :o)
I would suggest you get a red/cream pair as second if you want a second pair. You are really good at color, so I think you would wear both pair very well. The snake skin one looks really similar to the navy/cream for me…
I totally agree! The snakeskin does look too similar- thanks for your advice! π
Oh how cool! I wish I was brave enough to do this:) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing! I'm desperately trying to find a classic pair of cap toe pumps and i wear a size 5!
