Pearls: LOFT {old} (similar 2 row)
We all know that Forever 21 is usually hit or miss but there are rare occasions that you find a gem. This eyelash lace top is definitely one of them. Thanks to Jess for posting it on IG and providing measurements for me, I was able to find it while in the Midwest. It was perfect timing because my Mom was teaching me how to sew. She showed me how to take in the sides of this very boxy and wide top. I took it in by 1-1.5″ on both sides. I think it looks better when worn casually but I wanted to try tucking it in and dressing it up with a pencil skirt. It’s still a bit wide even after alterations but I think I’ll just keep it this way for now.
I have worn it so many times and every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. I think I need a lace/crochet intervention. The collection of lace items I have is growing rapidly in my closet. It’s definitely time for a blog sale again soon. Between my love for stripes, polka dots, lace/crochet…my closet is in need of an overhaul.
Here are some pictures from several weeks ago when we celebrated our anniversary I forgot to share. We ate at an Italian restaurant in Newport Coast…he clearly loves Italian food.
How would you style this lace top?
I would wear it with white skinny jeans (pink lace just begs for white, don’t you think?) or with a leather skirt later in the year to create a texture/material contrast. You really can’t go wrong with a white pencil skirt though (and that YSL bag is flawless here too).

Beautiful top. I can’t believe it came from F21! I totally couldn’t wear it b/c I’d be afraid my 2 year old would rip it. But if I had it, I’d wear it on the weekends with some jeans :).
