H&M Yellow Ruffle Blouse – size 2 {Style #: 039122} $29.95

I wasn’t planning on shopping this weekend because I wanted to avoid the crowds and long lines at the stores. Unfortunately I had some returns and decided to browse just a bit. The only thing that remotely caught my eye was this yellow ruffle blouse. It’s very reminiscent of the light green ruffle shell from two years ago that I adore so much. It will need slight slimming so when I tuck it in, there is no bunching but other than that, I love it. It’s a bit pricey for a polyester blouse but after the 20% off, not bad for something I love.
The other thing I tried on was this black speckle tweed pencil dress. It was cute but the neckline was extremely low and very inappropriate for work. I passed. Both of these items can be found in the “Modern Classic Work” section at H&M.
H&M sequin skirt – size XS {style #423670} $34.95
I bought this last week and just returned it yesterday It’s a size XS and if you are looking for a fun sequin skirt for the Holiday’s, this is a great option. I love the color but it does snag easily so be careful.
Banana Republic belted sheath dress in dark grey – size 00P
You know I love sheath dresses and this one looked like it ran smaller than usual on the hanger so I tried it on and was pretty disappointed. The belt/waist area was looser than the rest of the dress and sat really low. This is the same issue I had with my white ponte sheath and had to take apart the entire waist and move it up by 1″.
Xhilaration Moto Jacket – size XS
I went to Target to buy a few things and this cute jacket caught my eye. This is a great option if you are looking for a faux leather cognac moto jacket. The sleeves are really long but everything else fits nicely. Since it’s junior’s sizing, it runs a big smaller.
I found this cute navy crochet skirt at Forever 21 but was too lazy to try it on. The small looked somewhat promising on the hanger and the crochet material felt thicker than usual for F21. I can’t find it online but it was $27.80
Here was my outfit from yesterday:) I only walked away with my yellow H&M blouse so I am pretty proud of myself. I am trying only to buy things that I absolutely love. It’s hard to do when the sales and prices are so appealing. I am staying away from the outlets this weekend so please share if you find anything good!
