I debated keeping this blazer after receiving some feedback from readers that the tweed skirt suit was too “matronly”. See my full review here. Against everyone’s better judgement, I decided to keep it and wear the blazer and skirt as separates. I am really glad I did because I’ve been able to get a lot of wear out of both pieces. It’s a perfect neutral color tweed and matches a lot of the clothes I already own.
I recently wore this outfit to work and posted it here. It got such great feedback that I decided that it was blog worthy. It may be one of my favorite outfits ever! It has a combination of my favorite elements and colors – feminine/classy, tweed, crisp white, and blush.

Since the sleeves hit at such a strange length on me, I decided to cuff them up using my blouse sleeves. I am considering tailoring it to a true 3/4″ sleeve like it was meant to be. What do you think?
The weather in California has been so wonky lately. One day it’s in the 30’s and then the next day, it’s in the 80’s.
