I’ve been wanting a leopard clutch ever since I missed out on this J.Crew version here over seven months ago and still haven’t found the perfect one. I kept seeing Clare Vivier’s leopard clutch pop up everywhere (see on Pink Peonies, Suburban Faux-Pas and Wendy) and wanted to see what all the hype was about. If you’re a DIY enthusiast and want to save money, try Jean’s tutorial here.
I debated over the flat or the foldover clutch (both are the same price) and finally decided with the flat clutch. I had a coupon at Saks and some rewards which helped the hefty price tag.
The only difference between the foldover vs. the flat is the size. Everything else is essentially the same. The foldover measures 11.5 x 11.5″ and the flat is 11.5″ x 7″. I can still fold mine over for a similar “foldover” look and it works just fine. I like that I can use it as a flat clutch w/out it being too overwhelming for my frame. The foldover clutch when un-folded is way too big for someone my height and size.
I adore the leopard print on this clutch. It’s got the perfect color and size spots. The quality and craftsmanship is living up to all the hype. I think the size works well for petites.

Do you own a leopard clutch?
Leopard print pumps… now a leopard print clutch? I guess a girl can never have enough animal print items. This is a great look! To be honest, I tend to like this maxi skirt look a bit more than the previous one with the yellow top. I like the touch that navy blue blazer gives with the outfit. And I of course approve of the floppy hat. I also approve of your style through this whole blog post. Très chic, Annie! 🙂
