Review: Ann Taylor + Loft

LOFT

Ann Taylor and Loft Reviews2
Measurements: armpit to armpit 16″, sleeves 16″, width at bottom 18″ and total length is 21″
The color is a dark gray not navy.  I love it and would recommend it.
See my previous review of the 2012 mustard version here.

Eyelash Lace Crepe Shell – size XXSP
I added this shell as a filler for free shipping just to see and it’s much more blush in person than online.  It’s pretty but I think I can live without it. The armholes are slightly big.
Verdict: Return
I also ordered these navy suede pumps in size 5 but they are too big. The heel height and arch are too high for me.Verdict: Return

Paisley Border Shift Dress – size 00P

I don’t like the cut on this dress at all. It’s very wide and has no shape. You can clearly see my bra straps and that’s the first sign that it’s a no go. The exposed zipper in the back was a deal breaker for me.

Lace Horizon Dress – size 00P

I thought this lace dress had potential but it runs big and way too much going on for me.  It would fit someone one size up from me.

Riviera Stripe Jacket – size 00P

I love the orange stripes and thought it would be fun to add to my wardrobe but the jacket doesn’t do anything for me. The arms are wide and the shape is boxy.

Cutout back crepe top – size 00P

I loved the color of this top and was hoping that the cutout in the bank would conceal my bra.   Unfortunately, the top of my bra band peeks out and the top is very wide. Please excuse the wrinkles.

Silk Camp Shirt in soft day glo-pink – size 00P

The color is not anything that I expected and is more neon in person. The silk material is very thin and sheer. Arms are huge and didn’t like the button tab sleeves on this particular blouse.

So out of the entire batch on both orders, I ended up only keeping the dip dot blouse, these brooch and medallion earrings. Even though I got most of these items at insane prices, I must only keep the ones that fit and that I love. I have this dolman sleeve crepe dress on it’s way but it’s being shipped separately.

  1. The first outfit with the dot shirt and green skirt is so pretty. I am keeping my eye on the shirt now – must get it after seeing it on you. I would love to see prices you actually paid of the items you bought. Can you start including them in your reviews?

  2. I just happened upon your blog tonight and love it! Your dresses fit so well on you, do you need to get most of them altered? I usually have to alter the dresses I buy.

  3. where did you get your amazing white jeans?! I’ve been looking for some and so far everything has been to tight at the waist but fits my legs well or just right at the waist and way too roomy in the legs. You should definitely recommend some on your blog!

  4. I love the pale pink blouse. U wore it very well.

  5. I am sure this post has touched all the internet users,
its really really good paragraph on building up new weblog.

  6. I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading extremely slow for me.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end?

I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

  7. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours these days, but I by no means
found any fascinating article like yours. It is beautiful price sufficient for me.
Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as
you probably did, the internet shall be a lot more useful than ever before.

  8. Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you
