Cardigan: Ann Taylor – size XXSP (similar here and here)
Shoes: Ann Taylor – size 5 (buy here)

California weather has been so crazy lately! One day it’s chilly, then the next day it’ll be in the 80’s (not complaining). My brain is in Fall mode but the weather is forcing me to pull out some of my Summer clothes.  I think I’m ready for the heat to be over and looking forward to the cooler temperatures.

Burgundy and Leopard 1

This dress is from last year (last seen here) and one of my favorite fitting dresses. It’s cut very slim and the silhouette is very classic (no exposed zippers either).
Sheath dresses are my go to work outfits. They’re so easy and comfortable.  It’s perfect for the days when you have no idea what to wear. You can just put on a dress, add some accessories, a pair of pumps with a blazer/cardigan and you are all set.

Burgundy and Leopard 3

My favorite dresses have been from Banana Republic. They seem to fit my figure the best. I’m loving this piped tweed dress and recently purchased this sweater dress.

On another note, Loft is having their Friends and Family event – get 40% off everything. Use code: FRIENDS. Ends 11/17. Here are my picks:
Collared cotton tee dress (love this)
Petite lace shell
Pearlized collar blouse
Stretch crepe paneled sheath dress (see on me here)
Scuba pleated skirt dress
Tipped four pocket open cardigan in fluffy white

Burgundy and Leopard 5

Also, if you are looking for a fall/winter wool felt hat (see navy on me), I’ll be doing some reviews soon on the following:
– Nordstrom Felt Hat in charcoal and taupe

– Wool Felt Trilby Hat in taupe
– Floppy Wool Felt Fedora in cognac
Navy floppy wool hat (got in camel as well)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

  1. Whole lot of leaves falling in this setting! Anyhow, Annie… you look beautiful. This burgundy dress looks lovely along with the chic pumps. The leopard print cardigan kind of plays down this look. Otherwise, this outfit is more like date night or night out material… or it at least has that feel. Lovely looks!

  2. looking beautiful as always! love the color of the dress, it looks amazing against your skin tone. XX

  3. Gorgeous outfit Annie! I loved how you styled the dress this year and last year. Both looks are very chic. I am dying to see the BR grey colorblock sweater dress on you. Thanks for recommending it. I hope to try it on while I’m on vacation next week. I also love all the Nordies hats you recommended but I think the winds here would just blow the hats off my head so I’ll practice some restraint. 😉
