Review: Loft Tailor Stripe Blouse, Crepe Paneled Sheath Dress, Collarless Blazers, Polka Dot Sweater Tee

Tailor Stripe Sheer Blouse – size XXSP (buy HERE)

Pros:  I love the stripes (shocker!). The sleeves are supposed to be 3/4″ but on me it’s full length (yay!). This can be worn casually and dressed up.  It’s a flowy blouse which I don’t mind but if you like a more tailored fit, this may not. I love the button cuffs and ballet neck – makes it very feminine.
Cons: The blouse is sheer so you have to wear a tank underneath and may not be appropriate for conservative offices. I wore a black tank and it worked out just fine.  See on What Jess Wore.
Verdict: Keep

Loft Stretch Crepe Paneled Sheath Dress

Pros: The pale berry pink is very pretty and the fit is pretty decent on someone my size. The length is good and arm holes are small. I love the neckline – great for necklaces.
Cons: The rose colored exposed zipper in the back killed it for me. I’m not loving the paneled detail – wish it was more simple in the front.
Verdict: Return
LOFT Cotton Flannel Collarless BlazerCotton Flannel Collarless Blazer – size 00P (buy here)

Pros: The cut reminds me of Theory blazers – clean and simple.  The flannel material is soft and arms are slim.
Cons:  The fit is wide on me and sleeves would have be to taken up.  I’m not sure I like this soft of a material for a blazer like this – I prefer a more structured fabric for this type of cut.
Verdict: Return
Loft Polka Dot Sweater Tee
Polka Dot Sweater Tee – size XSP (buy here)

Pros: Adore the polkadots and camel color. This is very girly and who can turn down polka dots? The material is soft and I like the short sleeves. Great for layering under a blazer.
Cons: They were out of XXSP so I settled for XSP. I didn’t care for the fit and it didn’t wow me like I thought it would.
Verdict: Return

Loft Collarless Jacket in Mid Weight LOFT scuba
Collarless Jacket in mid weight LOFT scuba – size 00P (buy here)

Pros: I’ve been looking for a blazer in this blue color and was happy to see this in store. The fit isn’t perfect but decent – arms are slim enough and width is doable. I like the simplicity and reminds me of my beloved H&M collarless blazers.
Cons: The sleeves have real working button holes so it will probably be more expensive to tailor. I have them cuffed up in this photo.
Verdict: Purchased and will think about.

  1. I’m glad you’re keeping the striped top! I love it on you tucked in. It’s got to be one of my favorites and I tried it on in both XXS and XSP but I liked the sleeve length of the petite sizing on me better. I’m going to try on the items from my LOFT order now so I’ll try to be good like you and only keep the items I absolutely love. 🙂
